“I can't express how happy we are with Bernie's work. He, Seth and Ben renovated 2 bathrooms for us and both came out beautifully. The first required removing a jacuzzi tub and tiling, removing the tile floor, replacing/moving ceiling lights and fans.Adding a zero entry walk-in shower with sliding glass doors.
The second bathroom was the master. We removed a wall, moved the toilet into an existing closet and added a pocket door to the new water closet. Bernie built a bench in the shower and reinforced the wall to add safety rails. He suggested we continue the bathroom floor tile into the shower for the zero entry and we loved the idea. Bernie is somewhat of a perfectionist and spent quite a lot of time matching the stain and finish where he had to repair the floor where the previous wall was. In addition, he was kind enough to help with 2 wiring jobs in the bedrooms.
Bernie discusses all issues that come up and has great suggestions for resolution. His original estimate is always accurate with no additional surprises.
I highly recommend Bernie for whatever project you need done. I trust him, Seth and Ben to do the job well!“

“I recently moved back to the Chapel Hill ranch home in which I’d raised my children. I’d rented the home out for 27 years. While staying within a modest budget my home needed a major overhaul and update. I hired Jay Hallan after he’d completed work on my daughter’s home. We are thrilled with the results. I give Jay Hallan top marks for the following reasons:1. Work was completed on time and on budget!!2. Jay is an excellent listener.3. I did not use an outside architect or designer. Jay and I worked together to plan.4. The renovation included a 350sf screen porch with stone gas fireplace, four skylights and a ceiling fan. With my simply picking out the stacked stone and fan, J designed the entire space.5. Jay arrived on site every day. I did not live locally during the process. Jay provided pictures and we spoke or texted through the project.6. There were no major issues and the inevitable minor snags were addressed promptly.What more could you want?“

“Little Corner completed a large porch/sunroom addition at our home in Solterra, featuring an Endless Pool. They also added a tiled, accessible walk-in shower in our primary bathroom and completely renovated the second floor of our home to create a secondary living space.

Despite the complexity of the project, which included a year-round screen porch that can be enclosed for winter and a custom pool with a treadmill and swim current, they handled every detail with precision, excellent communication, and a pleasant demeanor. My wife observed that "Miguel's framing work was done with the care of finish carpentry."

I built my home almost 25 years ago, and it was time for some changes to address our needs for aging in place. I am confident that this addition will serve us well for many more years to come.

Living in a construction zone wasn't easy, but they made it work seamlessly.
