“I took martial arts with Sifu Bob for a couple of years, starting right before the pandemic. The only reason I'm not there anymore is because I'm in another part of the state. Man, do I miss him and everyone else so much! He taught me so much in 2 years, even through virtual classes when it was needed. Not many instructors have the patience and knowledge to teach their students the way Sifu Bob did. He pushed me to challenge myself and helped me feel stronger and more empowered in my practice. I don't think I'll ever find another instructor like Sifu nor fellow classmates like those at 4 Winds.“
“I loved training here. Though my time was brief because of College and Work, I’ve valued every class I went to and I’d do it all again. My roommates and I attended both the grappling classes and the striking classes and each were very valuable. The coaches here obviously care about their students. If you’ve been looking to start training martial arts, this is the place!“
“The owner is kind and helpful. The people there seem to really love what they're doing. Highly recommend.“
“Sensor Scott is one of the best instructors on earth. When it comes to isshinryu, you'll find no better atmosphere in NC.“
“Great place to learn Martial Arts! Teaches my kid focus, discipline and self defense while having fun! My kid loves it. Well run family business, keep up the great work!“
“My son looks forward to class every week. I think we will be staying here for a while. Very good with little children too.Updated:As a martial artist myself I wanted to find a good place for my son. Not just a place that taught the physical but the mental aspects as well. As he is on the spectrum and at times nonverbal I did not know how it was going to go. In the 7 months he has been going here he has started talking and making friends. He has even started seeing "yes sir". During one of the huddle topics the topic of responsibility came up. My son is four and I figured it would go over his head. That's okay, he has plenty of time to learn. Later that night my wife and I were discussing things and the word responsibility came up. My son asked about it referencing Sensi Harrison. We were able to incorporate our son into our family conversations. That's worth any amount of money. My son looks forward to class every Monday and Wednesday. He feels he has learned a lot and comes home and shows us what he's learned (even tho we are there for class). Joining here has been one of the best decisions we have made and will be here for a long time.“
“Our 10 year old son has really enjoyed his time at Karate International! It's a great community of dedicated folks looking to improve themselves. He can struggle to keep focused, but has been eager to keep trying at karate.“
