The Nail Lounge Highland Village

I found this place after searching for salons open on Sunday. I saw that they took walk ins, so I thought I would try them out. The guy that acknowledged at the door was not too friendly with his responses. After waiting a while, a nice lady working the bar assisted me. We had a nice chat and she did the gel fill I asked for. By Tuesday, the gel on 8 of my fingers were gone. This place is much higher than other nearby locations. I really had high expectations but was very disappointed. I do not recommend.

My gel pedicure experience was great. However, my dip manicure was not. The guy literally barely sprinkled the dip powder (instead of dipping your entire nail in as every place I’ve ever used does) unevenly on my nails. My color came out uneven & looks very DIY. It was obvious they were using the bare minimum for costs but charged more than I’ve ever paid at upscale salons here in New Orleans where I live. I expect more from an establishment in Highland Village as I definitely paid the price. Won’t be back or recommend.Services: Nail cut & filing

I appreciate the appointment time and friendliness of the technician. The pedicure area wasn't very comfortable (no massage chairs) and they didn't have alot of gels to chose from mostly dip. Expensive experience.
