She does a great job on my hair and I'm usually out of the salon in about 2.5 hours, which I'd say is pretty good considering on those days I get a relaxer, cut, deep condition and roller set. There's also a place called Fat Albert's next door whose hamburgers I love after leaving the salon. =)“

“I always find it difficult to find a good hairdresser. I was new to the Jackson Mississippi area when I stumbled upon Barnettes Salon. I was given a haircut appointment with Amelia. I was thrilled with my first haircut. I could say she has given me the best haircut than any other hairdresser I've had. I've since gone back a couple times, and have been completely satisfied with Amelia and her services. Unfortunately, I have since moved out-of-state. I am very sad to lose her as my hairdresser. I highly recommend her to anyone. I will miss her and her fantastic cuts!“
