“After another company performed some somewhat mediocre work, we had Justin from the Drainage Team come take a look and propose additional options to help us mitigate some side yard flooding. Justin and his team were so knowledgeable and professional. He managed the team and project from day 1 and throughout the project which was refreshing for us, always responsive. We were able to confidently sit back and let the professionals do their work. At no point did I question the plan and quality of work being done. Funny thing about drainage systems is that you sort of have to wait for a good rain to really test out the functionality…we finally got 2 big rain storms and ZERO FLOODING. “Accessibility Home Improvements did a fantastic job remodeling our master bathroom to make it accessible for my mom, who is wheelchair-bound. Owner Jon Floyd listened to our needs and came up with the perfect plan. The bathroom was gutted and a curbless shower installed, toilet relocated, new sink vanity installed, and new tile flooring installed. Throughout the entire process, Jon was easy to work with and very responsive. John, who did all of the work installing the shower, flooring, vanity, etc., was great to work with and truly cared about the quality of his work. “Can't recommend Heartland enough. Worth the wait. Signed the contract in July 2023 and we knew the estimated wait was 12 months. They started work July 2024 and completed in exactly 4 months. Estimate was 4-6 months. The project was a 16 x 24 home addition and 14 x 16 covered deck.

We built our home with another custom builder. (Before we discovered Heartland) It was a completely different and better experience with Heartland. Communication was fantastic throughout the whole journey with Heartland: updates, small issues, change orders, project billing, etc.

All Heartland workers are very friendly and courteous. My neighbors stopped by frequently to say how nice the workers were and how fast they were making progress.

We selected Heartland after interviewing three builders. We knew we needed more living space, but was not sure how to accomplish it. Heartland/Adam was the only builder able to draw out options to achieve it at no cost. We were most impressed by Adam and Heartland's reputation. All three builders costs were in the same ballpark, and more importantly, Heartland completed the project on the mutually agreed budget and delivered a project we are very happy with.

Side notes: always go with the products that Adam recommends. I was on the fence about our deck railings and windows, but the quality is vastly noticeable. Well worth it.
They did a great job of only damaging the lawn/sprinklers where required for construction. They did a great job fully repairing it at project completion.
Area of improvement: I was not impressed by HVAC subcontractor. Heartland stayed on top of them though and no issues with final product.“

Patrick was extremely helpful working with me and our insurance company to start the claim process, which was something I definately needed guidance on. “We initially hired Burke Construction to replace our fairly new driveway that the original contractor did a poor job on. Thirteen years later the driveway still looks great.After that, we undertook a huge undertaking to transform out backyard to build a pool. We need to do significant excavating and wall building to make this happen. Burke used really big boulders for the top wall to give the yard a ton of character and then used Versalok blocks for the lower wall on the backside of the pool. The stamped concrete around the pool and upper patio gave the yard the finishing touch and the yard now looks like a resort.“
