“Vincent & Chris from Heron Mark floors did a SUPERB job in refinishing the floors in our kitchen, dining room, great room, entryway and halls. The results are stunning, and it was very much worth the investment. They were very thorough in explaining the process at all stages and minimizing the disruption. I was especially impressed by their efforts to manage the dust. They advised us on best matching of the finish, and then applied several test finishes at allow us to select our preferred finish. Their attention to detail really impressed us, as well as their flexibility in scheduling the work (it does require multiple visits to complete).

I encourage you to get a quote, its likely less than you think. Our modest investment really updated our house (you don't notice how over the years the floors do become quite dull and worn). It's an amazing difference.

She helped me pick out the carpet, which looks fantastic in our space. She was responsive to all issues related to measuring and went above and beyond to correct some issues with measuring . Our install person Tom was also great and worked really hard to address some issues that had been missed in the measurement process- He worked extra hard to meet I need to have the space done before the holidays, even though it meant over extending. He resolved problems as they came up and even made a trip for a part for the dishwasher. He cleaned up and disinfected the water damage. The price was spendy, but it was well worth it. “Exceptional Work and True Professionalism — Review in Progress

J.O. Thompson, Inc. is currently finishing the installation of my heated kitchen floor using a Nuheat Duo Mat radiant heating system beneath imported Spanish tile, and I couldn’t be happier with the results so far. The floor looks phenomenal — level, precise, and beautifully done.

The team’s professionalism and attitude have been outstanding from day one. I’ve added to the project multiple times (at least four!) without a single complaint — they actually said they love add-ons. They’ve also been incredibly patient and flexible with my busy renovation schedule, coordinating around other contractors seamlessly.

A small dent and scratch occurred on my refrigerator during the process, and they immediately acknowledged it and offered to make it right — that level of honesty and accountability is rare and deeply appreciated. GREEN FLAG.

A special shoutout to Chuck, who guided me through every step of the project — from design and measurements to nearly 300 emails of questions and details — always with patience, expertise, and humor. “We had Mike the Carpet Guy install carpet in the basement and flooring in the upstairs bathroom. The work itself turned out great—everything looks sharp, and the turnaround was fast. Mike offers quality products at a fair price, which we appreciated.

That said, the cleanup could’ve been better. There was tape left on windows, closet doors left in the bathroom, and various scraps lying around. In the bathroom, we found wet towels and old caulk in the tub. When the toilet was reinstalled, the shutoff valve was turned off—no biggie, but when I opened it, it leaked badly. Not the installer’s fault (it’s an old valve), but a heads-up would’ve been helpful.

All in all, a good experience—I’d just like to see a little more attention to cleanup next time.“

He personally walked me through the stone product that I was selecting, made sure it was exactly what I was looking for. He even offered to set a sample outside the store to pick up in case I didn't make it to the store before closing. He provided the product ID's, the number to the order desk, made sure everything was in stock and helped me select an immaculate piece of tile that was exactly what we were hoping for.
