The best thing about taking my dog here is that I know I can trust Amanda to try a new approach or take a break if my dog gets overwhelmed and needs some help. Grateful Grooming is not a factory style salon that puts high volume ahead of pets' wellbeing. Dogs who are able to do so are allowed to be out on the shop floor unkenneled. Your dog's needs come first here, which I really appreciate. I'd recommend this place to anyone, but I'd ESPECIALLY recommend it to anyone with a shy or fearful dog. “I had to bring my dog in for an emergency visit and while on the phone making the emergency appointment the rep was transparent on what pricing to expect. I was advised the emergency initial exam fee is $180 and got in half an hour later. As soon as we checked we were brought back to a private room and seen immediately. The staff were all friendly and patient with my rambunctious little fluff ball who didn't even realize we were there for something serious because he was getting so many treats. Before taking any further steps than the initial exam the vet advised me of what prices would be for specific tests they can run. The vet also advised me of alternative options and was completely open about pricing. I keep mentioning pricing because that's what I have problems with the most at veterinary clinics is lack of transparency and receiving a $1k+ bill at the end that I wasn't expecting. Southview sent a follow up email as well checking in on my dog to make sure things are still well. Overall we're very happy with our quality of care.“
