“I came to Twin Cities T’ai Chi seeking a practice that would help me with emotional and physical processing of a year filled with challenging life events. I got that and so much more. The instructors are knowledgeable and the studio members are warm and inviting. The studio itself is spacious and clean. There are folks with all sorts of different backgrounds, ages, and stories with what lead them to TCTC. I wasn’t expecting this but I ended up gaining a whole new community with fellow studio members and instructors that I love to see each week.If you’re seeking to bring a new practice and community into your life, Twin Cities T’ai Chi might be the perfect fit, as I discovered it was for me.Pro tips:1. Don’t be afraid when entering the building for the first time. The studio is a few floors up in an artists loft building with the doors to the street locked to the public. Arrive a little early to the class and there will be a friendly instructor to open the door and greet you when you arrive.2. Dress in layers and feel free to bring a small backpack. The space is toasty in the winter!3. You will get to work with different instructors each class. The variety is lovely and it creates a well rounded experience!“

I highly recommend joining. The richness of it's culture and background has integrated to the Twin Cities in the most profound of ways. Incredible learning experience and opportunities for growth. If you're wanting to try dance, music and martial arts sign up as soon as you can!“
“I have trained at Midwest Karate (Art of the empty hand) for several years ever since graduating from the University of Minesota under Sinsai Fusaro( in 1973 where he taught). When the dojo opened at Dayton's Bluff, I continued to train under Sinsai Forest,Joe, and Anita. The oraganization has a strong reputation for integrity, flexible class schedules, and reasonable rates. As Master Ginchin Funakoshi stated in the preface to his 1975 book,"Karate-Do, My Way of Life," Karate-do is not merely a sport that teaches self defense blocks, strikes, and kicks but a continued training discipline that promotes strong mind/body to help provide a defense against illness and disease as well. Thanks to his devotion to Karate-do, he never had to take medicne or consult a physician. Shotokan karate's traditional training system of stretching, basics, kata, and kumite (sparring) provides an outstanding opportunity to gain self confidence, strength and balance to feel more comfortable in any self defense situation that may arise. I'm so thankful my parents allow me to join Kuk Sool Won. Earning my Blackbelt is one of my most proud experiences! I cant thank my instructors and the schools owners Steffen and Nicki enough. Truly a life changing experience!“

The class is well organized and always interesting. I have learned real world basic and intermediate self defense techniques. There is also a lot of stick and some knife work. One night per week is sparring with padded sticks.“

2524 Nicollet Ave #200, Minneapolis“Last spring I started training with Professor Gina. It has been an honor. She is an amazing instructor and fosters an awesome community.“
“Cool instructors. Friendly peers. The instruction is great, but I'm looking for a more meaningful experience with martial arts. I'm not satisfied [yet?]. I kind of feel like a walking dollar bill; after the session there's no debriefing or words of wisdom essential to being a martial artist.“

1630 101st Ave NE #110, Blaine“Master Kim is the best TKD master!! I've been a student of Master Kim for about 15 years and have truly learned various TKD skills as well as valuable life skills.
Master Kim also actively seeks out new techniques and pushes his students to excel, both as athletes and individuals. I've definitely become a stronger and smarter athlete under Master Kim. Thanks to Master Kim's commitment and excellent coaching, our demo team also was one of the best in the state, even placing at nationals.
And I can't miss the fact that Master Kim treats everyone like family!! TKD with Master Kim has been a core part of my life, and I'm so grateful for the supportive community I grew up in ?
If you want to learn TKD from the best, learn from Master Kim at KTA!!“
