“I was visiting Minneapolis from out of town. The first day I was here my glasses broke. I arrived at Moss Optical 30 minutes before closing time. The two women behind the counter were so very friendly and nice. They repaired my glasses And when they were finished, I asked them how much I owed them and they said nothing. They were actually going to let me walk out of there without paying anything! I gave them a cash tip for so patiently and sweetly helping me. While I was waiting, they also recommended several different eyeglass frames to me. Every pair they selected for me looked great so not only does Moss Optical have a store full of very stylish, good looking frames, but they also employ some of the nicest people I have ever met. Thank you, Moss Optical.“

“Made the hour-long drive to this location because they were able to get me in quickly and also took my insurance. The staff was super thorough and knowledgeable. The doctor was very professional and easy to get along with. He answered all of my questions to satisfaction. I got a new prescription--no problem. I also left my house in a hurry and forgot my cards at home. They didn't do tap-to-pay so they allowed me to call in and pay my co-pay the next day. Felt like family, honestly. Not many places like this left!“

“Dr Nancy Simmons was great, she explained everything to me and was listening and monitoring the tech as I got my Digital Retinal Imaging done. I will return for my eye exam here next year. I really felt the Dr Simmons was not just going through the motions but really cared about giving me the best eye exam. I will not purchase glasses here anymore, the sales person lied to me. Funny thing is I would have made the same purchase without the lies. I hate high pressure sales tactics with lies so I will be purchasing my glasses elsewhere. in the future.“

“My exam was excellent, the techs and dr were phenomenal. Check in was easy and my appointment was comfortable.

My only feedback was when the glasses sales rep was not super transparent with the costing breakdown of the optional/recommended add ons for glasses/contacts such as e.g. transitional lenses which I opted out, saving $75. I was shown two separate prices that were similar for glasses and contacts that would have cost +$800 total, it was voiced over very quickly without a clear articulation of total costs until I pressed to understand more details and made the decision to forgo contacts for another month due to affordability. I thought $450 was my total until I realized that was only for glasses after insurance. Maybe I need more guidance than others, but when the charges are adding up quickly I’d invite them to change their processes to carefully walk clients through was is optional and what is baseline. They were super kind and helped me pick frames, it unfortunately gave me some discomfort when I almost was talked into services I did not need or want.“
