“Phenomenal gym in every way! The instructors are kind and welcoming, and are very interested and invested in your progress. I've been rolling at this gym for about a month, and I can say that the vibe is great and overall it's an awesome training atmosphere. It can be very nerve-wracking stepping into the gym for the first time, but for anyone who's considering starting BJJ this is the place you want to be.EDIT: Still here two years later, rolling three times per week. Nothing has changed. Instructors still care greatly about your progress, and I've made close friends with many of my training partners. The best BJJ in the east metro, hands down.“
“Excellent studio! My son has been attending for about 1.5 years and loves it. The instructors are great with kids and are extremely knowledgeable.“
“Jake and Natalia are pillars in the community. This is a place where *all* can go to find a place to belong while learning valuable skills in MMA. My family has benefited so much - physically, emotionally, relationally- over the years. If you’re here searching for a place to learn MMA, you definitely want to check this place out.“
“I have trained at Midwest Karate (Art of the empty hand) for several years ever since graduating from the University of Minesota under Sinsai Fusaro( in 1973 where he taught). When the dojo opened at Dayton's Bluff, I continued to train under Sinsai Forest,Joe, and Anita. The oraganization has a strong reputation for integrity, flexible class schedules, and reasonable rates. As Master Ginchin Funakoshi stated in the preface to his 1975 book,"Karate-Do, My Way of Life," Karate-do is not merely a sport that teaches self defense blocks, strikes, and kicks but a continued training discipline that promotes strong mind/body to help provide a defense against illness and disease as well. Thanks to his devotion to Karate-do, he never had to take medicne or consult a physician. Shotokan karate's traditional training system of stretching, basics, kata, and kumite (sparring) provides an outstanding opportunity to gain self confidence, strength and balance to feel more comfortable in any self defense situation that may arise. “My children have had a wonderful experience at Sun Yi’s WBL in both Little Ninja’s and traditional TKD. We can’t recommend this place enough!“
“Our kids love coming and were so excited to earn their belts. Our eldest is neurodivergent and fits right in. We love that Mr. Kahn doesn't "dumb down" lessons for any kid. They are all expected to achieve. We love the emphasis on respect and also how Mr. Kahn and his staff connect with each child. He's so good with kids --- he's a terrific young man! He challenges our boys to be their best. Sometimes the lessons are a few minutes short, and we wish they went the full 30 minutes, and also the email communications can be a bit much, but overall we are impressed and happy to have found this studio. As a mom of boys, I also love that there are female instructors. Way to go Kahn Martial Arts!“
“The training, atmosphere, cleanliness, and support here is top tier. I've trained at several gyms over the years and none hold a candle to Warrior's Cove. The coaches take a stake in your training and give you an individualized plan to progress. This is a great place to become a better, smarter, stronger, and ultimately more capable version of yourself.“
“As a complete newbie to firearms, Cory’s class exceeded my expectations in every aspect. His expertise, hands-on teaching approach, and comprehensive course material left me feeling extremely confident in my ability to handle a firearm responsibly, understand the duties of ownership and carrying, and grasp the importance of carrying one in the first place. I highly recommend this course to both beginners and experienced individuals seeking to renew their concealed carry permit. A definite 10/10.“
