Phenomenal gym in every way! The instructors are kind and welcoming, and are very interested and invested in your progress. I've been rolling at this gym for about a month, and I can say that the vibe is great and overall it's an awesome training atmosphere. It can be very nerve-wracking stepping into the gym for the first time, but for anyone who's considering starting BJJ this is the place you want to be.EDIT: Still here two years later, rolling three times per week. Nothing has changed. Instructors still care greatly about your progress, and I've made close friends with many of my training partners. The best BJJ in the east metro, hands down.

Next Level Combat has an incredibly friendly atmosphere. As a beginner student my experience has been nothing short of welcoming, helpful and encouraging. That includes the owner, instructors and other members. Next Level Combat has created an amazing gym atmosphere.

Being from Pennsylvania I come to Minneapolis /st paul often and I am so happy I found a jiu-jitsu gym that feels like my home gym. I was welcomed in and had a great experience. Top notch coaches and students. I already can't wait to get back on the mat.
