“Crystal Kitchen and Bath did an amazing job on our kitchen. The original was 62 years old and well-past its’ sell-by date! Worse, our sense of design was lacking, to put it mildly. Mary spent a lot of time working with us to figure out what we really needed and what we wanted vs what we wanted to pay for. This was important to us because before we began we had NO idea what a quality kitchen remodel might cost. Now we have a kitchen that is functionally “larger” without changing the footprint at all.<br><br>It has been done for over a year now and we’ve had a chance to “live” with it and we still love it. Our family does too.<br><br>First Mary suggested that we make the window over the sink bigger by making the bottom of it just a few inches lower. Then she made the window seem bigger yet by suggesting a full-view awning window instead of the double-casement. Last, she made the floor bigger by suggesting a banquette against one wall instead of having the table in the middle of the room. These are the kinds of things that we could not imagine ourselves. She re-arranged our appliances and maximized the counter-space despite there being no room for an island. Now two of us can cook at the same time!<br><br>The construction process was delightful. They made every milestone that they had scheduled and they finished *exactly* when they told us that they would. To The Day. Not ONE of our friends that has had this type of major remodel has had a project proceed as scheduled; some have missed by months. Our kitchen was completed in early 2023 so the supply chains were still messed-up but they made it happen. Their planning was flawless.<br><br>There were minor issues; although to be fair I am not clear that these were Crystal Kitchen’s fault. There is a door lock that works well in the winter – when we don’t use the door – but did not work well last summer. Hopefully this summer will be better; so far it is! There was also a crack in the granite countertop – virtually invisible – and a countertop seam that failed with a bang. The original seam was invisible but the repair certainly is not. I guess there has to be that one “thing” or the review is unbelievable.<br><br>Crystal Kitchen may not be the cheapest out there, but for us it was worth every penny. I would call them FIRST if we needed it done again. I recommend Crystal Kitchen without reservation.<br><br>John R.“

“I worked with LVS on a kitchen remodel in Feb 2024. Vlad, the owner and I met several months prior to me being ready to start. He went through several design options and iterations with me and was always insightful on practical elements which I may have overlooked while focusing on aesthetics. It was obvious he had years of experience and skill. A winning combo when looking for a contractor. Some may have skill, but not the years of lessons learned from dozens of customers. Vlad is a true professional and absolutely takes pride in his work and keeps his word.<br><br>He and his crew showed up on time everyday and cleaned up every night (seriously!). The kitchen was a complete gut job with some reconfiguration. I prepared myself for a long and painful remodel. Well Vlad made sure we were NEVER were without our fridge - it stayed plugged in and accessable the entire time.<br><br>In addition, they finished AHEAD of schedule! They gutted the entire kitchen in ONE day and hauled everything off!! Within 3 weeks my kitchen was fully functional! I was stunned.<br><br>I need to repeat - this was a complete remodel (not cosmetic) - Electrical, plumbing, gas were all moved/re-done in addition to installing new cabinets, counters, drywall, appliances etc. Who can say that their contractor finished ahead of schedule AND exactly on budget!??<br><br>Vlad's attention to detail (he's a perfectionist and it shows) and his work ethic are outstanding. “We met Dimitri and literally found him on the internet. He was at our house the next day and we liked him right away! He looked at our space and had great suggestions! We hired him after seeing his amazing shop and meeting his people. Our cabinets were installed less than 10 days later and they were beautiful! We were thrilled so we had him do our back hall/mudroom. He had those built ins done and installed about 2 weeks later. Everything he does is precise and he is very talented indeed. He upgraded parts of both projects for us at no charge and then he also remade glass doors for a bar area we were not replacing and redid my kitchen cabinet to allow for trash containers. His installers were great, ontime and true craftsmen. Dimitri is easy to get ahold of and always available to answer questions. His thinks of his work as "works of art" and they truly are that. We would recommend him with 100 stars if we could. We also talked to 2 other clients before we hired Dimitri and they both also raved about him and his work! It is hard to find a carpenter/cabinet maker today that is under 75 years old and we have found a treasure!“
