“Been going here over 12 years now, never had any problems, my recent eye appointment you could tell the dr was a little bit frustrated, but not with me, with the fact i didn’t wear my glasses like i was supposed to so my vision didn’t improve ! It was more of a frustration for my eyesight not for me. Always been treated with respect, no one had a problem with my 4 year old being in there with me. Surprised they have bad reviews at all. Front desk “socializes” with each customer, ive never been ignored, you just simply have to wait for them to finish up with a customer :)“

“My daughter came to WOW Vision about a year ago (while in 5th grade) for a Visual Processing Disorder. She was struggling with focusing at school, burning herself out to try to keep up, and as a result her confidence was shot. We thought she had ADD so to learn her challenges had to do with her eye/brain connection really took us by surprise. Prior to this experience we had never even heard of a Visual Processing Disorder. Through some reading I now know that 1 in 4 kids has some sort of Visual Processing Disorder and it can often get mis-diagnosed as ADD or dyslexia.

Understanding what our daughter was dealing with was life changing in itself and then having the support of the doctors and therapists at Wow Vision was such an incredible experience from start to finish. Dr. Parz is fantastic and works so well with kids. She makes the experience easy and fun! Our therapist, Allie, was also fantastic! She was always able to answer our questions with confidence and supported our daughter each and every step of the way. She loved going to therapy weekly and was so sad when her time was finished. WOW Vision became like a second home for us!

One of the wonderful things about this process is that once the eye/brain connection is strengthened you don’t need to keep doing therapy to keep that connection. Our daughter is about 3 months out of therapy and is excelling at a tough school. She is able to handle multiple tests in a week without tears and can recall information she is learning so much faster. She doesn’t need to re-read information twice or 3 times to understand and her confidence is growing!

“Popped in to see if they could help with my son’s glasses. Both arms of his glasses were broke off, and he can’t function without them. The woman working took the lenses out of his broken glasses and put them in a donated pair. We were in there for just a couple minutes and went from totally stuck without glasses to him wearing glasses instantly. We didn’t even buy his glasses there, but I will be going there in the future. I highly recommend this place. We are so grateful for their help!“
