I have never seen a charity that gives so much. The people that run downriver for veterans help the vets in every way possible. As a group they come together to help the vets of the downriver area where resources are so limited. Without downriver for vets our downriver vets would go without so much of their daily needs.. Whether you can give a little or or alot definitely consider this charity when wanting to give back to the community as they don't think twice about helping a vet in need.

Was Blessed to Meet the Founder Ann. Seeing First Hand Just How Much DFV Does For Veterans. I've Been able to Develop Great Friendships and Have Been Accepted into the DFV Family. Wasn't aware of this Amazing Non Profit Group until my Friend Bruce Johnson Connected me with Her. It's Refreshing to know that Downriver Vet's Don't have to go to Detroit for Help ! Seen the Episode of Returning the Favor with Mike Rowe it's Gotten Over 11 Million Views. Attended Several Ceremonies including the Vietnam Veterans Wall in Wyandotte, Paying Respects to Our Fallen Brothers and Sisters at Our Lady Of Hope Cemetery On Memorial Day.
