“Love Club Pilates! Started attending classes at the WB location last fall and I love the variety of instructors and classes. Highly recommend to anyone looking to incorporate new health & fitness routine ?“
“I lovvvvvve going there? they are very clean thorough and people oriented..as well as very professional oriented“
“Great workout,very good energy.
The music, along with Cely,is a perfect match.additional amazing Zumba instructors ,Shannon,Eynav,Malina.“
“I have worked with Rebecca, Nichole and Naomi and cannot say enough good things about them and their skills at making me feel terrific after they work magic. They have a wide array of techniques and skills for all of my ailments and are careful and considerate of my limitations including full lumbar fusion and laxity in shoulder joints. I am a physical therapist myself and will not let just anyone work on me. The lymphatic work I've had has worked wonders on my peripheral nerve pain and has given me information to bring back to my doctors.
They are professional and the place is very clean.
I have recommended patients and family get treatments from them and they have all had great reviews. Again, I am as picky as they come when it comes to body work.
Another thing I love is that they have great recommendations for what is needed for my particular issues yet are not like other places and do not constantly talk about booking future sessions during treatments. They are not salesmen. I have been to other places that do not stop trying to sell me while I am on the table. They focus on the task at hand and I leave feeling great and cared for. Their professionalism, skills and approachability keep me coming back.
I highly recommend this clinic. If you are unsure what treatment is best for you just ask.
I am lucky to have found them.“
“Cinda, the owner, is amazing and the other instructors are just as great. Whether you are looking for a good place to drop in or would like to find a "home studio" you'll have a great experience here!“
“Loved the staff, the vibe, the aesthetic, and the energy of everyone! The yoga class was such a perfect balance of deep stretching/ release and strength. Alice was a wonderful instructor. Overall, had a lovely experience and can't wait to come back!“
“I had great help with my frozen shoulder here. I knew I had to get some good help and the PT there sad they knew what to do. They were right“
“People of any ability level will enjoy the class. Jessica is aware and responsive in guiding the exercises. For each move, she provides a harder and easier way to achieve the goal of the exercise. The environment is relaxed, and people are friendly. Big fan, love this place!“
“I’ve been practicing here for almost 12 years (on and off due to moving and life) and no place is cleaner, kinder, and more inviting than Thrive. Every single instructor is so incredibly patient and the atmosphere is always relaxing and invigorating at the same time. I recommend them to everyone and look forward to many more years of practice at Thrive!“
“Welcoming community for all skill levels with a great variety & wonderful instructors. Have been happy with every class I have attended!!! My favorite class is the Somatic Yoga one on Tuesdays!!!!“
“Love the mommy and baby classes. Instructors are engaging and fun. On top of yoga, they incorporate music, songs and free play for the kids. Great thing to do to get out of the house with your little one, especially during the colder months!“
“This is the best yoga studio around. Very welcoming. Extremely knowledgeable teachers. Their focus and wisdom on anatomy is top notch. So glad I found Explore Yoga!“
“I've had a great experience at Fit Park - I love that I can get a workout in during lunch. Mark changes things up too, so I never get bored! I'll always hate Burpees and Mountain Climbers, but that's another story :)“
“I highly recommend the Center for Iyengar Yoga for all who have an interest in connecting body, mind and breath to serve your well-being. Under the instruction of the Center Director, Christopher Briney, everyone can learn to make these vital connections within. No matter your age, perceived physical limitations, Chris will work with you and meet you where you are on your yoga journey. Whether you are a beginner, new to the Iyengar method or advanced and looking to deepen your practice, this is the studio for you. The sessions are like semesters which are great for development of your practice. Drop-in classes are also available for those wanting to give it a try. There is much value in having a teacher who is also a continuing student. The Center Director continues to take classes from Prashant Iyengar and the value is passed on to those fortunate enough to study at The Center for Iyengar Yoga Royal Oak. Classes are also available online. In person classes offer the additional benefit of all necessary equipment being provided including mats. The studio is beautiful and clean. The teaching includes philosophy of yoga and personalized attention to detail as the Director takes the time to get to know you and any physical limitations that may require alternative pose options. Classes at The Center for Iyengar Yoga Royal Oak have a positive health impact that goes beyond the physical.“
“Amazing classes for everyone from beginner to advanced. Instruction is top notch and offer modifications that help me get deeper into the practice through breath and movement. I love the traditional yoga feel of ashtanga and also enjoy the modern upbeat of vinyasa. Five Stars! xx“
“Lots of variety, friendly staff, and convenient location ( we'll see how that new hotel affects us)“
“I had a client speak very highly of Amy, how much she has guided her body to a much healthier place and the high level of professionalism and care with which she operates her studio. I met with Amy and very quickly it was evident the deep level of attention and interest she has for the improved well being of her clients. I would refer my clients to her without hesitation. I have been in practice for over 35 years and I have complete confidence in her skills. Educated, experienced, professional, and passionate. Could not recommend Amy more highly.“
“Sarah and the YogaMedics team are stellar! I cannot even express the positive impact YogaMedics will have on your life.“
“Everyone involved with this organization is top notch and absolutely stellar. The number of people I've felt comfortable referring to Viewpoint is staggering. These people are the absolute best in the business. From their compassion to community events bringing awareness to the mental health stigma plaguing our country, these people are doing some truly exceptional work!“
“One of my go-to yoga studios! Thrive has locations in both Troy and Farmington Hills and offers tons of times and different class types. Even with a busy schedule, I feel like I can still squeeze in at least one class every week! I've attended classes with a few different instructors and have always found them to be very welcoming and friendly. Weekend classes can tend to be full, but there is typically plenty of space to spread out during the week. I also really appreciate that the instructors are always very respectful of each individuals' limitations and offers alternatives for more challenging poses. The heat and humidity can definitely be overwhelming if this is your first time trying hot yoga. However, this is one of my favorite features of this location and a reason I keep coming back! It's important to go at your own pace, take breaks if necessary, and bring PLENTY of water if you're new to this type of practice! FYI: this location also offers showers!“
“Back in September, I came to one of the dinners to show support for a family member, and yet, during the presentation I found myself raising my hand to some of Nicole's questions, nodding, and even tearing up. I knew that this journey here at the WTI was one I needed to explore, because that day, for the first time in a while, I ended up feeling as if there was a "glimmer of hope".... for myself. Before joining the program I experienced a lot of "crumby" feelings: from frequent headaches & migraines, debilitating tension, bouts of unexplained anxiety, to irritable bowel flare-ups. I felt as if there were more bad days than good. I was miserable. Looking back I realize that I wasn't living life to the fullest. I dreaded making plans with anyone because I never knew how I was going to feel. There were so many times that I'd be excited about something but then I would have to cancel because my body was hurting in some way or another. It's understandable that over time, with this type of pattern, the invitations eventually stopped coming.I'm learning and have learned so much from the WTI team. I'm a visual and hands-on learner so the cooking demos, the handouts, and yoga classes have all been very helpful. This is one of the reasons I'm confident that I'll be able to continue with my healthier-me journey because the information presented; the "whys", the "whats", and the "hows" are all laid out nicely and make sense.Through the guidance and support of my WTI team, I've been able to stop relying on prescription medications, ("oral Band-Aids") and can proudly say that it has been a little over 7 months since needing refills on any of them, including the beta-blocker! I have built a healthier relationship with food and have even identified a few that cause sensitivities. I've finally kicked the unhealthy relationship that I formed with caffeine; I used to drink 2-3 energy drinks and at least a couple of cups of coffee with copious amounts of flavored creamer, daily. I don’t need it and realize that there are so many better choices out there.Since joining & completing the program: I've also lost about 16 pounds, am much more hydrated, my skin looks brighter, and all around I'm starting to feel better. I've started venturing out, planning engagements and committing to plans again. I've found a new love and appreciation for yoga, as well as deep breathing. I know that I'm a work in progress and that this is something I'm mindfully going to need to stick with, but that doesn't scare me. What scares me (or scared me) was the thought of forever feeling the way that I did before.Today I feel hopeful, unstuck. I feel as if I'm starting to take back my life, I'm starting to actually live it.Thank you all for the knowledge, courage & support you've given me throughout these last few months. I will forever be grateful.“
“Excellent facility. Yvette was a remarkable yoga teacher. She lead us into various breathing exercises, movements, mediation and played soothing songs. I highly recommend this facility and Yvette.“
“Warm, welcoming, clean studio. Top notch instruction, overall five star heated vinyasa flow for this experienced yogi. Thanks Steph!“
“We had our sons birthday party here and Juliana was our host. We had a fantastic experience, the space was perfect and so cute and cozy. Juliana was so helpful and made us feel so comfortable: offering to get music on, helping set up and clean up, being so kind and patient as this was the first birthday party (outside of just family) I’ve thrown for our little guy! The space has lots of options for creative, low stimulation, imaginative play. I do think the space is best suited for 3 and under birthday party as any older you may need a bit more space. But our sons 3 year old party where children were all 3 and under: it was perfect and definitely recommend!!“
“I would give them ten stars if I could! They foster an environment full of positive vibes. It is the only time during the day that I don’t have my phone on me and can let go and get lost in the moment with the music and the flow. I have attended yoga classes throughout the country and in Europe; what Community Yoga Studio offers is something unlike anything I have experienced anywhere. The teachers are great. And whether I know them or not, everyone I run into there feels like my extended yoga family! I highly recommend this place!“
“Just recently returned to this telegraph@12 #lafitness. Large lot at this busy LA Fitness. There's a basketball court, pool, sauna, exercise and spinning classes and racquetball courts.
Many newer machines recently though some were previously used from a premium LA Fitness I believe. This site has been open a long time and is clean though a refresh is probably overdue if I'm being picky.
The staff is good though it seems at times they do double duty like when they don't have a female locker room staff. Then it's not as easy to keep all areas maintained .
They do provide wipes for cleaning machines but at times you do see them forgotten on the floor.
There's a serious group of people working out here so if your interest is mostly social you may be disappointed. Being on Telegraph there are many businesses nearby and so people come here pre and post work.“
