“I am a food truck. I purchased a Globe Fryer floor model that I installed but could not get the pilot to stay lit. Globe called AR to service my fryer. When I talked to the dispatcher, I explained that my entire business was based on that fryer, that I had already lost $4k in business and would have to cancel any business until I could get it fixed. “I scheduled a home efficiency appointment shortly after we moved into a new (old) home. I received multiple call and text reminders as well as email information about free and discounted items and services from Consumers Energy to improve our home efficiency. Our service person, Al, arrived on time with a face covering, shoe covers, and a free current sensing power strip for our living room. He was knowledgeable and polite, allowing me to shadow him and ask questions. He made several recommendations, also included in his written report, that I plan to follow up on. He spent about two hours in our home, inspecting our thermostat, HVAC, humidifier, and hot water heater and then proceeded to insulate all our basement pipes -- and it was all free! I would highly recommend people make use of this amazing resource.“
