“In November of '23, we decided it was time for our 20 year old carpet to go. 20 years of life took its toll. We had no idea where to start. We called a couple places, but we weren’t feeling confident with any one place, at that point. We called Smith's Hardwood from a general google listing. They are on the east side of town, and we grew up there, so we called. Joe got back with us, came out to the house, and instantly recognized the potential our floors had, even with the condition they were in at that time. We were pleased with his overall knowledge and real enthusiasm for what could be. We felt that maybe we found someone who could help us. This was a big investment for us.Our baseboards and door casings were in bad shape, and he was willing and able to offer us a full array of options to do a one-time fix of everything. The price was fair for the amount of work needed, and we felt good about bringing them in. All the guys on the crew are fantastic, knowledgable and knew what they were doing. We had no problems with moving out for a week, so they could work; we had full confidence in the crew. The carpenter that completed all the finishing work was great. Good craftsmanship all around. All questions were addressed at the end of the job and we were treated with respect throughout. Joe even went above and beyond to take care of us in resolving some small things that came up at the end of the job.We were ignorant of the hardwood floor restoration process, so we put our trust in them to get it right. We read so many online reviews during our search; some were helpful, most were not. We felt it was good to give back and do a review that we would have appreciated to read a month ago, at the beginning of our search.It’s difficult to get a sense of a company’s honesty and competence from a simple google search, but this company is one of the good ones.“

“Hello. My wife and I were overdue to have the downstairs flooring replaced in our 2 story home. We had J Rohr install wood flooring in a small area around 20 years ago. We went back to J Rohr for new white oak 3/4" X 4 " wide planks. The two installer gentlemen were very good at their work. They moved the refrigerator, stove for new flooring underneath and provided a special removable plank at the front of the dishwasher in case it ever needs to be removed. As I am a woodworker I was elated that i was given an opportunity to assist. Two doors needed to be trimmed on the bottom to clear the new flooring. Overall, it was a very good installation.“

I Googled them when I got home and saw they had excellent reviews!My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday and Michele and John were there.Very nice people. Made us feel right at home. We picked out some samples and took them home. Cheryl came out to the house about a week later and brought some samples with her.It took us a long time (months) to finally find a floor that we liked, but they were all very patient with us.Johnny and John did the installation on our main floor. They communicated with us every step of the way, which was greatly appreciated. They took their time and did a wonderful job. “We had a Congoleum floor installed in June of 2020. This floor required grout; I picked the floor. Between 2020 and 2021 we had Pro Quality flooring out a couple of times to fix some grout and other defects, all done at no charge. Finally in the fall of 2022 I contacted Fred at Pro Quality to tell him the floor tile had developed some defects and sent him photo's. Fred reached out to Congoleum who in turn replaced our floor with another of their products. As this new floor was more expensive, I was only charged the difference in the cost from the original floor and not charged for labor. Thank you Fred for your patience, integrity and professionalism. I highly recommend this company for any of your flooring needs.“
