“The vets and techs here are absolutely wonderful! Our pup Sasha had to have ligament surgery on her right hind leg. I researched several options across the state, and drove 2 hours each way for Sasha’s MMP surgery. For those who don’t know, MMP is an alternative to TPLO—Sasha had a speedier, less complicated recovery as a result and we couldn’t be more pleased!“

In a very short time Dr Mazukie was able to discover not only an unusual intestinal problem but also a thyroid issue. Over a very short time we were able to stabilize her but given continued treatment I’m confident that she has extended her lifespan significantly. “My cat Willow has been seeing Dr Duncan for 6-7 yrs for cardiomyopathy (life expectancy about 1 yr) she suddenly went into cimplete heart failure, she spent the night at the emergency vet, but OAH allowed me to make an early am appt for the next day. We brought her in, she had to see a new vet since it was Dr Duncan's surgery day, but she was able to talk to him and we all decided she was "ok" but needed close minitoring. When he got out of surgery Dr Duncan called to check on her, but unfortunately we were back at the emergency vet where we lost her. A few days later when they were notified Dr Duncan called to tell me how sorry they were and offer condolences....not a huge deal, but something he didn't have to do and made me feel that he cared about my baby and understood how hard it was for us to lose her.“

Dr. Franchini performed a TPLO surgery on our GSD Drake, and has worked diligently toward a positive outcome for him. They have taken the time to get to know Drake's personality and our concerns and have reacted only with compassion and respectful consideration. I would absolutely recommend them for your dogs care and will certainly be taking care of ours in the future.“

The recommendation was to take her to an emergency hospital.I called Dr. Schwartz's office. He was able to see her that day.I was grateful that Dr. Schwartz was able to diagnose and give Bella medicine that afternoon. Since that day, Dr. Schwartz has become Bella and Jay's Veternarian. Dr. Schwartz and the staff at Downtown Veterinarian Clinic are outstanding. I highly recommend this clinic.“
