“Another company installed unfinished hardwood to the existing floor. After they sanded and stained the floor, there was unevenness along two walls, a high hump above the load-bearing beam, along with installing bad pieces of wood and the bdrm transition piece. Someone told me they thought the entire floor needed to be ripped out.

Brian from Floormaster came and assessed the job, and I was told he and his team could work with it and make a difference. It’s exactly what they did! They smoothed out the trenches along the walls, reduced the high hump area and it’s no longer noticeable, along with replacing bad pieces of wood. Oh how I wish I had known about them from the beginning. I can only tell you about the GREAT experience I had with Brian, and his team. I’m MOST GRATEFUL for the fine SERVICE they provided. Continue to provide the same great service to others. The first 4 pictures are from the 1st company’s work, and the last 6 are by Floormaster. I HIGHLY recommend them.“

“From Nov. 2023 UPDATE: I called and requested that Carpet Direct please speed up our carpet install if at all possible as we need to use our home for Thanksgiving. They did do it but only a couple days before the holiday so still not enough time to set up the house and use it. I lost over 3 weeks time on this deal. Still my bad for not letting them know I needed it done in longest a week or two not a month! and my bad and his for not asking/telling about carpet that was in stock. Make sure to pin them down on the details because they don't ask or let you know up front if the carpet you choose is in stock. Also let them know how you would like to pay or finance your purchase or they will only ask for 1/2 down promptly when they come to measure your rooms with no other choice given at that time. When I went in to ask to finance the rest of my purchase and ask what was taking so long I was told I want too many bells and whistles. I consider options to pay and timing of install part of the business at hand.
I would rather give small business owners my business but for carpet and flooring I will be returning to the Big Box stores! Carpets direct only gave 12 months to finance. For such an expensive purchase Home Depot or Lowes will finance 18 to 24 months.

Oct. 2023 Seems like a great place to get carpet and very nice people but make sure to get all the details worked out like if the carpet you are getting is in stock or if it has to be ordered which I didn't do. I also didn't let them know when I needed it by which was in a few days to a week so that was kinda my bad and has made our home unusable for a few weeks waiting for the carpet order and install. Our furniture can't be moved into the bedrooms so there is no where to sleep presently for our family. I hope it comes in soon because "any day now" is not comforting. I just assumed it was in stock but it in fact had to be ordered and take weeks for them to get what I chose in stock and then we will have to arrange installation. If I had known or been told this up front I would have asked what do you have in stock right then and chose one of those? Also they have 0% finance advertised online but financing was not mentioned or offered when I asked about it and I then had to give half up front which has set me back a bit. Hoping to hear my carpet is in very soon.“

“We had a Congoleum floor installed in June of 2020. This floor required grout; I picked the floor. Between 2020 and 2021 we had Pro Quality flooring out a couple of times to fix some grout and other defects, all done at no charge. Finally in the fall of 2022 I contacted Fred at Pro Quality to tell him the floor tile had developed some defects and sent him photo's. Fred reached out to Congoleum who in turn replaced our floor with another of their products. As this new floor was more expensive, I was only charged the difference in the cost from the original floor and not charged for labor. Thank you Fred for your patience, integrity and professionalism. I highly recommend this company for any of your flooring needs.“
