“Dr. Z and all of the staff at New Horizon Clinic are simply AMAZING! This office provides the highest quality care I've seen in any doctors office. And their work with the LGBTQ and substance using populations is supportive and judgment-free. As a psychotherapist in the area, I refer people as often as possible to here for things like medication-assisted addiction treatment like Vivitrol and Suboxone, hormone therapy for those transitioning genders, and for regular primary care. The level of care, compassion, and passion this office has for patients is truly inspirational. In my mind, THIS should be the standard of care for all offices!“

“Been going here many years. Never a bad moment. Well except feeling sick, which is why I went.“

“staff here are friendly and helpful. All but one of the providers I've seen here have been knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Given that I've seen multiple providers over multiple departments, one who wasn't very good is still better than a lot of doctors' offices I've been to. I'm lucky WMU students have access to this level of good healthcare right on campus.“

“I've tried three times to post. Review but keep getting kicked out... Maybe it will work better if I give 5 stars instead of 5.“

“It's a shelter with a mental health base, a place to stay to help get on your feet. Staff are ko0l people, will talk to you and assist you as long as you show the same respect.. Just remember they are not there to serve you but, to help you. They understand you are going through something so, you don't have to be rude. They help with housing, you have to prove your looking for housing also, one on one conversations with your assigned counselor. Had group sessions, chores like any other shelter, I shared a room a with a ko0l older woman. Clean, decent, and get to do your laundry on days your room is scheduled to. If you do your part it works, can't just think it's all Oakland House responsibility when, their working with a building full of also homeless or/and disabled people. I know there are some other rules, I can't recall at the moment but, as always there is a curfew. Was 5yrs since I was there so I don't know how much has changed.“

“Couldn't have been more impressed with the friendliness, attentiveness, and thoroughness I experienced during my mother's office visit! I was greeted and asked if I would like a water! What?!?! The nurse's assistant, the phlebotomist, and the nurse practitioner, Stephanie, were all pleasant and professional (sorry I don't recall everyone's name). The most thorough and thoughtful exam by Stephanie I've ever experienced! Better than any doctor I've seen! Kudos to all! You should be very proud of the manner in which you conduct your practices.“
