I been in pain for months from frozen shoulder. Disha is most smart and hardworking therapist I have seen. She loves her job and her patients. I have been seeing Alex for a few years for EMDR for complex trauma. We were tackling issues that have been entrenched for decades despite lots of past therapy. I feel in her a kindred spirit and she has had great empathy for my experience. I was surprised we didn't do a lot of actual eye movement but we did do a lot of what she calls resourcing which is basically using cognitive restructuring to build the resiliency framework necessary to do the harder work. She kept telling me to hang in there and trust the process. All I can say is, what we have been doing, has been effective beyond my wildest imaginings. I am so much more resilient and confident in my ability to handle challenges than I used to be. I was able to move from therapy into a serious Zen practice that has deepened my understanding of all the mind-body awareness things she has talked about over the years. Some issues I thought I would be living with for the rest of my life seem to have vanished. I don't even need weekly therapy anymore. It's true she does cancel a lot but my schedule has always been pretty flexible and she's always been willing to accommodate things that come up for me. When my son was diagnosed with a disability she was also able to pivot the focus of therapy and provide that support until I found another specialist in that area. She has a very flexible and receptive approach to therapy that works very well for me. I would recommend her to anyone with complex trauma as well as mothers of young children - she gets it!
I couldn't be happier with my experience with Mike and his team. They did a great job installing sod in my backyard and Mike has been available for all my questions following completion of the job. I have had experiences where contractors disappear after payment - and Modern Tree has been the exact opposite. I highly recommend!

Charming little old school barber shop! I felt like I walked into a 1960s barber shop complete with retro chairs and a vintage cash register. Quite an experience. Very clean and welcoming. The barber Ron gave my 2 year old son a great haircut! You can tell Ron cares about his craft. Would pick this place over a chain any day.

BAUS is truly one of those places where I know EVERY TIME that I visit, I’m going to leave with an exceptional experience. I have been going to BAUS since 2021, starting out in Rochester and then switching to Birmingham and NEVER been disappointed. If you’re at Birmingham, request a cut from Jacob or Jovani. Two of the best!
Stylist: Jacob (Birmingham): truly one of the best. Easy to have a conversation with but also very attentive to the cut. EVERY time I get a cut/beard trim from him, EVERYBODY ask me where/who I went to.

Bizzy (Rochester): she’s incredible. I started going to BAUS in 2021 and Bizzy was my original barber but I moved closer to Birmingham so I was sad to leave but knew I would be in good hands at the other location. Bizzy is incredible and I’m so thankful I had her as my first experience at BAUS.
Nick is the absolute best barber I’ve had in 45 years!! His chair is usually booked up a week or so out - so do yourself a favor and plan ahead - I promise you a phenomenal experience!!
Was my first time there and I put a lot of pressure on the person who cut my hair. I forgot her name but she killed it. She exceeded any expectations I had when I walked in and she was very skilled and knowledgeable. My first experience was amazing and although it’s an hour drive for me this is where I will be returning for my future cuts.
I highly recommend Union Barber in both Birmingham and Ferndale. I have been going since I moved to the Detroit area, and they always provide me with an outstanding haircut. I started going to Birmingham location a few months ago after a dude at the Ferndale location kept forgetting who I was. Plus, it's closer to my house.The classic haircut is worth the $35 price tag based on the quality. Plus, they give you a drink while you wait, which is never that long (unless you are super early). I have worked with Jade and now Naomi and both are fantastic!
I haven’t tried a new nail salon in years but they were able to accept me as a walk in so I decided to give it a try. From the phone call to staff at entry everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Amy was fantastic and I got the best pedicure and manicure yet! I didn’t feel rushed and the attention to detail was unmatched. Clean and cute place. I will definitely be coming here from now on without turning back. Definitely recommend!

I honestly had such a great experience here today. I had gone to another salon who had filed my nails improperly. The nail tech did a great job at correcting my nails with gel-x while keeping my natural nails to enhance growth for my next appointment. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. This was the best salon I’ve been to in Michigan.

Naura was amazing! She was on-time—with the room prepared and waiting on me when I arrived. After walking through the different types of extensions, she advised me on which would be best suited for my natural lashes. The mink lashes were natural-looking just as I had requested. Also, she gave me some helpful recommendations on how to care for them in-between visits. I left feeling like ‘dat girl’ !! I drove an hour to see her and it was worth every minute. Suzanne is very helpful and knowledgeable. I have never had this great of an experience at any spa. I can’t get Botox or fillers due to severe allergies. Sandra uses all natural products AND reverses aging without the harmful affects of medical procedures. She not only stopped the clock, but she is now reversing it. I can’t believe the results I’m getting with all natural products and techniques. I am over 50 and on stage and in front the camera so this is vital for my career.

Can’t recommend them enough! Had received so many cautionary tales about other pest management companies not showing up, or using products not safe for indoor pets. The Eco-Sound team were so thorough and knowledgeable and friendly, and got rid of my carpenter ants and indoor spiders/earwigs the first time they came out. I had some bees nesting around the house too and they said they would be gone at the beginning of June, and they were spot on!
I signed up for their regular maintenance program and they set up the appointment themselves without having to remind them, and were here the day they scheduled. I also felt so much better knowing all the products they used were safe for my indoor pet!

They have a wonderful team of people that worked closely with me to ensure that I would have the best, most economical result for my brick patio repair which included pitching, leveling, narrowing my steps and adding garden space. Dave was so conscientious about consulting with me and matching new pavers to my existing ones The team all work so well together, and it was very impressive as a consumer, to see the respect that Dave demonstrates towards the whole crew. Jose offered his expert opinion, and he and his staff did an amazing job of laying the pavers out in a beautiful pattern. They worked diligently from their prompt arrival to their cleanup departure. I now have a fabulous patio to enjoy and look forward to replanting my garden with the extra space.

Had a great experience with the staff at Premier Birmingham Dental. From a warm welcome as I entered the door to booking my Next appt on way out. Martina was the hygienist who cleaned my teeth and she was efficient, friendly and gentle on me. Almost embarrassed to admit but I hadn't seen a dentist in two years and I was treated as if I had been a regular. Very nice and my teeth felt great after! Dr Stone checked me over and chatted with me for awhile and was very nice and informative ! He even sees children too so I booked my daughter an appointment . Happy to have found a good dentist in our new town

My son was having an issue with his neck after lacrosse. We tried a chiropractor which didn’t seem to help. We decided to try a neck massage with Annette and it made a big difference. She was very good and also showed my son some stretches to do before practice. Highly recommend!
