“Dusty spent alot of time making sure the measurements were spot on. We told him how we always have probs because of the high prescription and extremely narrow area I can see through. These are the best glasses I’ve ever had!! My last experience with Visionworks was in Novi where the lady flipped the measurements between my right and left so I could not see and had to remake them. Coming to Grand Rapids this thing was with the hour drive up! Highly recommend this location.“

“I’m 4 days out from my lasik eye surgery and feeling great. I had a very positive experience from the lasik vision institute in Grand Rapids. I was able to get in for an initial consultation within a couple weeks of scheduling (likely could have gotten in sooner but I needed a Friday appt.), and then my surgery day was 2 weeks after that. I was at the center for about 1.5 hours on surgery day, but the surgery itself took about 10 minutes. If you’re worried about pain, it was tolerable and the only part that’s uncomfortable lasts maybe 10-30 seconds per eye (cutting the flap- it is a fairly strong pressure). The laser portion is also fast and I couldn’t feel it at all. The staff does a great job explaining exactly what to expect, how to prepare, and what to do during recovery, and so far my experience has been exactly as described. I had a post op appointment a couple days after surgery and already have better than 20/20 vision. Very happy I made the decision and chose this location. My husband is planning to do it later in the year after seeing my results.“

She is on the front lines, which is a tough job, but the office is judged by the patients first interaction when arriving.“
