“I've only had 2 sessions with Lauren, and I'm already racing to leave a review. She is a miracle worker!I've tried physical therapy at several other locations and fully expected to go through the motions (w/o relief) to satisfy my insurance requirements in order to get an MRI. Now, I wonder if I will even need one at all. This is the first time I have been able to walk with minimal pain in months!! My only regret is that I didn't pursue it sooner! In past experiences at other locations, I've been given heat/ice, a tens machine, or used an exercise bike. I was given exercises and used weights once- the latter was almost helpful. It was never 1:1, I didn't feel like I was listened to or that they cared. My experience with Lauren couldn't have been more different! She is so friendly and personable, an appointment feels more like meeting up with a friend at the gym. She listens, asks questions along the way, and tailors exercises based on my responses. She is super knowledgeable, I appreciate her explaining the reasoning behind doing certain exercises or not pushing past the pain. I feel like an active participant in my treatment which I really value.“
“It's rare these days to find healthcare practitioners who are genuinely invested in your well-being and demonstrate this with the utmost compassion and care. Bethesda Physiocare offers precisely this kind of experience, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found it. I had had dry needling in the past (as a part of my previous PT program) and was looking for someone to provide this service exclusively. After reading reviews, I decided to make an appointment with Noelle. My experience with her over these past few weeks has been nothing short of amazing. She is an exceptionally skilled provider who is clearly an expert in her field. Because of her breadth of experience and extraordinary needling skills, I always felt at ease and am now feeling SO much better than when I first came to see her. And she is just an overall lovely person who you can tell truly cares about her patients. The office is bright, clean, easily accessible and modern. I cannot recommend this practice, and specifically Noelle, highly enough. You will truly be in the best and most competent of hands.“
“My left hip and back always ached for years probably due to running. A few months into training for a marathon, it became unbearably painful. I came to see Ariella several times, and 3 months later I ran that marathon with no pain in my left hip/back!I only wish I came to see Ariella and made an appointment at District Performance & Physio many years ago. Even though the marathon is over, I plan to continue seeing Ariella for all of the random aches that go along with running and other physical activity in order to prevent another injury. This practice is high quality and everyone cares a lot about their work and their clients. I couldn't recommend them more!“
“I'm so thankful that I had Chris Burton for PT following my knee replacement. He was the winning combination of personable, informative, sensitive and tough. He took the time to explain why each exercise was important. He encouraged me along the way - that positive spirit and dedication to getting me thru it, got me thru it!I did the work but I know my progress is largely due to the guidance he provided.Thank you Phoenix, for Chris!“
“I recently had a reoccurrence of an old Achilles tendon injury that left me hobbling. In addition, at the same time, my wife was recovering from a full left knee replacement which would require extensive PT, once she had sufficiently healed to begin PT. Star arranged to schedule our PT sessions at basically the same time, which was a great convenience. Our experience with the staff physical therapists was outstanding. I was principally assigned to Kyra ("Kiki") who was extremely professional and knowledgable and gradually increased the difficulty of the exercises which has advanced my ultimate recovery significantly. When Kyra was not available, I was taken care of by Kirsten (sp?) and James and there was no falloff in professionalism. Marty's physical therapist was principally Aeysha (sp?), who was also, both extremely professional and patient with Marty in light of the seriousness of her operation. It was important to my wife and me that we achieve a level of ability to enable us to drive to Florida where we would be spending the winter. Based on the efforts of our physical therapists, we were able to do so.Two other benefits: (1) because of our physical therapists' good humor and conviviality, we actually looked forward to going to PT. They were friendly, funny and engaging while at the same time extremely professional; and (2) for me, I could observe the remarkable strides my wife, Marty, made from major surgery. At the beginning, she was naturally tentative. By the end, because of the evident strides she had made, it was hard to know that she had had such major surgery so recently. Marty and I give Sports Therapy our highest recommendation. Dan Toomey and Marty Rogers.“

“I’m so grateful to have connected with Jennifer Varnell at DMV Home Therapy! Thank you for the ST referrals. Jennifer goes above and beyond to meet the needs of her patients with outstanding home based PT and OT services. Her staff is phenomenal and are highly knowledgeable!!!“
“Dr. Dickson is the best DPT in the DMV area!Last August, I sprained my right ankle, resulting in limited mobility and strength. From the first session, I knew I could put my trust in Dr. Dickson from her passion and diligence, leading to a 100% recovery after a month of her sessions and additional cross-training.Dr. Dickson is very personable, as she carefully assesses her clients' physicality, tailoring individual exercises to their needs. As a pre-professional dancer at a high-caliber collegiate program, incorporating Dr. Dickson's instruction alongside my dance classes results in wonders because I continue to reach peak performance.During my seasonal breaks, I continue to work with Dr. Dickson because, although I've recovered, my work is never done, and she remains to be my biggest supporter.Go sign up now!!!?“

“Michelle helped me recover from a chronic shoulder pain - it's not only about the treatment per se during the sessions, but also her holistic approach and advice that enables you to make shifts in your daily routine with a longterm positive impact on your health. Thank you Michelle!“

“I had the privilege to get home physical therapy by Chris Burton of Phoenix after my recent total knee replacement. I had worked with different therapists before my surgery. Chris is the best therapist I have ever come across. He is patient, understanding and highly resilient. My PT was interrupted for 2 weeks due to my hospitalization for a different reason. But Chris, as determined and resilient as he is, he helped me to get back on track sooner than I expected. In summary, Chris is a wonderful PT, very knowledgeable, serious, punctual and helpful.Chris, thanks a million for every support, guidance and encouragement you gave me. I wish you success in all your endeavors.Atsede“

“Andrea gave me the tools, techniques and confidence to rebuild my injured tendon and tissue. She has an exceptional understanding and deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Her calm, methodical style, with a dose of humor, is ideal for making progress in a very efficient manner. I highly recommend Andrea!“
“Excellent physical therapist, Mary, is the best I have ever had, so knowledgeable and a great practitioner, and I also highly recommend massage therapist Marc.“
“Ms. Shenk is thorough, knowledgeable, innovative, and efficificient. I was a patient in the Virginia Hospital Center's Therapy Gym of the Inpatient Rehab Center. I had an above-the-knee amputation on my right leg, and two weeks after the final operation, I was doing standard physical therapy, with reps and walking distance emphasized more than technique. However, Ms. Shenk took a forward-thinking approach, and incorporated breathing yoga posesand props into the therapy. She also patiently instructed me how to apply my bandages, and made sure that I understood everything that she taught me. I would highly recommend Nicole Shenk as a competent, caring, and compassionate physical therapist.“
“I had chronic pain in most of my body, headaches, and severe dizziness. After months of tests and some PT, I was faced with a diagnosis of a lifetime of chronic pain regulated by medication and very limited ability to do sport. After I started working with Bill Amos I managed to get to a point where I was pain free and able to run and ski again. And I now also have the tools to stay that way. Bill has a tremendous wealth of knowledge, breadth of techniques, and insights. I can't recommend him enough.“
“Patty is a miracle worker. I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis for almost three years now. After 6 doctors and 4 physical therapists I came across Patty and she completely changed the game. I am finally seeing improvement after she recognized that my biggest issue is how tight I am everywhere. With her work I am finally almost pain free for the first time in years. I highly, highly recommend her and I now to go to her for any PT I need.“
“Pivot College Park is a great facility. Under the Carr of Nick and Jody I was able to recover from being hit by a car on my bicycle. I started with little movement in my shoulder and right leg and started improving in the first couple of weeks. These are knowledgeable and caring experts. Go here if you are serious about recovery. They will support your efforts to get well. Thank You Nick @ Pivot, my bicycle won't be healed but I am riding again“
