I felt pretty defeated and very uncertain about my chances of completing this run. But with the expertise and support of my PT Ariella and student in training Julyana, I crossed that finish line! They set up custom workout programs tailored to me which were easily available and updated via an app on your phone. They are also very responsive through text and email. After experiencing some pain the week before my run, I reached out to District P&P through text and Ariella called me that same day. They really do care about their clients and the personal touch and kindness they show really shines. Pro-Tip: Try to have at least one session with their official greeter Olivia the golden retriever. She’s the BEST!“

I've been to 40+ PTs, doctors, chiropractors, etc over 30 yrs struggling with a myriad of myofascial and orthopedic injuries and have finally found a provider who can solve issues for good. He carefully listens and is extremely thoughtful in how he treats patients. The range of treatment options and expertise he brings to bear is simply incredible. The extended Bethesda Physiocare team is likewise top notch and providers are all are leading experts globally in their field. The facilities are state of the art and patient experience is top notch.“

He is polite, professional, respectful, but still very friendly and personable. My 86 year old husband hates exercise and rehab but Sebastian managed to always encourage him perfectly and got my husband to comply. Not an easy feat!! He has a great demeanor and was always flexible with his schedule to accommodate ours. Recommend without hesitation.“

Turning 96 in June 2024, I have had excellent health but experienced a number of minor injuries conducive to using physical therapy. So I had had previous experience with this kind of treatment. The time I spent at Star was the best.
To begin with, the facility is pleasant, with large windows, and very well laid out so that three or four therapists can work freely with patients with different levels of need. The atmosphere is welcoming and exudes a sense of community, working together to produce comfort and high performance. Sam Dozier, receptionist and Therapist Aide, greets people warmly, tirelessly arranges schedules to suit your convenience, and throughout your time there offers compassionate support.
I worked alternately with Kyra Corradin and Aysha Ehsan. To sum up, I found them to be kind, caring, and focused. They are professionals with a special understanding of the power of movement to refresh and restore. Although work in the sessions is directed to particular areas of the body, the target is the whole person, not just a sore neck or knee. Kyra and Aysha began each session by asking how I was feeling that day with an interest not only in physical issues, but also in my spirits and general outlook. Their goal was to make me feel better through movement specifically directed to areas needing attention. If I indicated pain in a particular area, they would begin by massaging that spot, literally demonstrating the common expression, “I can feel your pain.”
I always did feel better after my sessions. However, both therapists strongly emphasized the importance of taking personal responsibility for learning and doing prescribed exercises at home. I thought they were great teachers, very good practitioners of their trade, and good at motivating me to carry on the lessons ourselves.“

4001 Brandywine St NW #301, Washington“I came to Phoenix Rehab after doing years of physical therapy elsewhere. I am a particularly complex case due to a genetic disease I have. I am especially weak and deconditioned. Previous PT providers have not taken into consideration how weak I am and push me beyond my capacity to perform. I decided to call in advance and ask the manager if he felt he could work with me given the problems I have had. He called me back the same day after the clinic was closed and spent at least 20 minutes listening and talking to me. He assured me he could adapt their normal work for me. I had my appointments with the Manager of both locations, Chris. He has progressed me very slowly and in three months, I never been hurt. Our appointments address several regions of my body and I am delighted to report that I have improved in my time there. It is not unusual to see him give instructions to one person while checking on another. He's a hands-on manager and it seems the place runs smoothly. He has hired two new physical therapists and he described that he would mentor them as necessary. I'm so glad that I found Phoenix Rehab. Excellent place in every way“

I reached out to Jon via Yelp and he was quick to respond and support in setting up an initial appointment. After working with Jon and the team for the past couple of years, I could not recommend CNMR more strongly! The practice is extremely well-run and the staff are kind and accommodating. Jon is a phenomenal practitioner and has worked to craft an adaptive treatment plan with me throughout our time together. I really appreciate his ability to articulate the underlying causes of pain/injury and have gained a ton of insight and knowledge I will carry with me.“

1100 17th St NW b12, Washington“Ciara is just an all around delightful person, who is so knowledgeable in all things both pelvic health and also traditional orthopedic PT. I’ve began working with her during my pregnancy- I’ve always been active and a runner, but found that during pregnancy, I needed some help feeling strong and learning how to move. I’ve loved her energy- it’s like hanging out with a friend, who is also super knowledgeable and funny. After i returned to running, I took a fall and sprained my ankle and reached out for some rehab. Ciara will travel to your home, which if you have kids or a demanding job, is so clutch. She tailors your treatment not just to your injury but to what you love- we weren’t just focused on getting my ankle to not hurt, but getting strong to get back to running. I’d highly recommend her for anything PT related- she’s also an expert on pelvic health issues and makes it just feel so comfortable and safe to discus anything- nothing is off limits and it’s like chatting with a friend (well, she is a friend now!). I can’t say enough good things about her- make sure you reach out with any needs, be it during pregnancy, after, or for just any regular injuries too.“
“Tony Touma at CORE is fantastic. He's done more for rehabbing my knee in a few weeks after replacement surgery than Phoenix people did in six months. That's because he spends all his time manipulating my knee and figuring out how my body mechanics are not working a year after surgery. He then gives me the proper exercises to do at home to rebuild my knee strength and flexibility where it is off kilter. Phoenix in Tenleytown just had me doing exercises for the whole 45 minutes I was there and did almost no body manipulation. It was in and out for everyone with little hands on work, especially work that would identify what was wrong. I can't say enough about Tony Touma and CORE.“

9707 Medical Center Dr Suite 330, Rockville“All of the bad reviews are related to insurance issues, not the work done. I think that's important to note. Before I started seeing Agnes at this practice I had given up. My life is better for it. I recommend everyone with any physical discomfort or problems at all to see her once and just see what happens. I came here and was surprised by the "average" review because Agnes is definitely the best PT I've ever seen. She's a manual PT, meaning she will put your alignment back in place and get the knots out. I started seeing her through word of mouth, so I never found her online. She fixes your shit and has a real knack for figuring things out. If you don't have poor habits your problem can be fixed in one session. The habits can take longer to correct, but she identified what I needed to do to fix my discomfort and pain throughout my body. It takes genuine work and effort sometimes, but her methods are more concrete and make more sense than other PTs I've gone to. Other PTs have come close, but never fixed my alignment in the session and did not give me a vision. I was regularly discouraged. I'm 27 and other practitioners were surprised how much discomfort I was in, considering I'm so young, but Agnes knew immediately that I was doing certain things to create the muscle weaknesses I had and was able to tell me about them. I went to chiropractic care for years with minimal to 0 change. I know it's a personal journey figuring out what you and your body needs to feel it's best, but I think everyone should try Agnes first.“

I had worked with different therapists before my surgery. Chris is the best therapist I have ever come across. He is patient, understanding and highly resilient. My PT was interrupted for 2 weeks due to my hospitalization for a different reason. But Chris, as determined and resilient as he is, he helped me to get back on track sooner than I expected. In summary, Chris is a wonderful PT, very knowledgeable, serious, punctual and helpful.Chris, thanks a million for every support, guidance and encouragement you gave me. I wish you success in all your endeavors.Atsede“

5480 Wisconsin Ave, Chevy Chase“I had chronic pain in most of my body, headaches, and severe dizziness. After months of tests and some PT, I was faced with a diagnosis of a lifetime of chronic pain regulated by medication and very limited ability to do sport. After I started working with Bill Amos I managed to get to a point where I was pain free and able to run and ski again. And I now also have the tools to stay that way. Bill has a tremendous wealth of knowledge, breadth of techniques, and insights. I can't recommend him enough.“
“Patty is a miracle worker. I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis for almost three years now. After 6 doctors and 4 physical therapists I came across Patty and she completely changed the game. I am finally seeing improvement after she recognized that my biggest issue is how tight I am everywhere. With her work I am finally almost pain free for the first time in years. I highly, highly recommend her and I now to go to her for any PT I need.“
“Michelle helped me recover from a chronic shoulder pain - it's not only about the treatment per se during the sessions, but also her holistic approach and advice that enables you to make shifts in your daily routine with a longterm positive impact on your health. Thank you Michelle!“
“I have been gong to Kevin at the Chevy Chase Office. Am 85,had been diagnosed with serious problems which Dr. Kaiser found I do not have! No more prednisone! She sent me to Kevin who has turned my life around. Exercises appropriate to my energy and ability as well as thorough explanations, encouragement, and kindness. When I first went to him I could barely walk across the room and to do so was painful. Very discouraged. After once a week for a couple of months I can now get up out of a chair, walk 6 plus downtown doc blocks, and drive again! And,with Kevin's help, encouragement and exercise program, I continue to improve.“
