This was not a simple project since the old unit was tucked away in the crawl space above the sun room attic where it intersects the main house. The Pipco team came with 5 technicians and truly swarmed the project. “Elmar Service Work started March 4, 2019 and finished 3 days later.Scope of the original Work: 3 Mishbushi Mini-splits installed as well as the compressor . Installers arrived promptly and the installation was completed in 3 days. Staff and installers were personable and informative. Units have worked flawlessly for the last 5 years.Occasionally, I have 40-80 mph wind that comes up from the bay, over the roof tops and into my back yard -- hitting the back and driveway side of my house. Over this 5 year period, Elmar Service came two different times to re-attach the covers that had blown off the side of the house.I have a 100 year old house with plaster and lathe walls. Recently the top two anchors and screws for the kitchen Mini-split came off the wall and I did not discover this situation until the unit was about 6" off the wall. Will, the service technician came out the next day and improved my efforts to secure the the sagging unit. About 4 weeks later (I was having health problems), Will and Caleb came to the house to attach 3/4" plywood to the studs and re-attach the kitchen unit to the plywood. They did the same thing for the 2nd floor unit. Now BOTH units are securely attached.Both men arrived on time and were personable, receptive to my suggestions, very knowledgeable, kept the work site clean (and wore covers over their shoes).The kitchen unit was done at no charge and the 2nd floor unit was done for a very reasonable price. I am especially grateful to have received the "Quick Guide" for my units and Will's additional explanation for some of the symbols in the Quick Guide. When I originally got the units, I downloaded 22 pages of the User's Manual. The Quick Guide is much clearer and easy to understand. I am grateful to Elmar Service for the customer service I've received over the years and thankful that my units are now securely attached to the walls.“
