“I prayed to the Lord of Host that my experience in getting a weave would be a positive one. In the past, I never immediately liked the final product. It always had to grow on me. I am not a hair diva and I detest getting my hair done. I am very tender-headed. I also suffer allergic reactions to most stylist's hair products and hair, synthetic and human. Melva discussed everything with me. I purchased my weave from Mayvenn a vendor she was well-familiar with and she trusted their quality. She asked me about allergies. I told her I was allergic to sulfur and most hair products. Melva read her products' ingredients before choosing the ones to use on me. She washed, conditioned, and blow-dried my hair. She chose to use yarn instead of kankelon hair for braiding. Normally, kankelon hair that was not pre-soaked in vinger/water, would set my scalp on fire due to my allergy to the hair's preservatives. She braided my hair with yarn to strengthen the weave foundation. She braided not too tight but just right. She caused me no discomfort. She continued with the weaving with such professionalism that when she finished, I was amazed with the final results. I actually liked my style and it fitted my face perfectly. I was overjoyed! I praised God and I thanked her for a style well-done. I recommend Melva to anyone who has hair and scalp issues. She's been doing this for over 30 years (she doesn't look like it). Her price was reasonable and she is nuturing. She was born with the gift to do hair. I will be back in 3-weeks for my maintenance.“

“I’ve been going to Way-Z for about 3 years every style has been flawless. I’m natural and way-z had kept my hair healthy and happy. My hair usually doesn’t hold heat but when she does my press it lasts for weeks. I’ve gone to her for trim, 2-strand twist, silk press, moisture treatment and most recently a full sew-in, I have yet to be disappointed. As an added bonus when time is not on my side and I’ve had to have my toddler tag along she has always been friendly with her. Way-z is very personable and knowledgeable I can honestly say I trust her with my hair. Soon as my daughter’s hair grows out she’ll be in the chair next to me.“

Megan has been cutting my hair since I was in college. She’s super knowledgeable, listens to what type of cut/style I want, and offers helpful feedback. Their prices are reasonable. The cut comes with a wash, a cute scalp massage, and a blow dry/style. Today, I went in to change my look. I had 4in taken off and she added textured layers. As always, I love my new hairdo! “Attended my first paint and sip party yesterday hosted by Pizazz Hair and Art Studio and it was awesome. I didn't know what to expect, but upon arrival I found the atmosphere to be very welcoming and relaxing. Chantell had everything set up with your canvas and all of your brushes, she even had refreshments ready and invited you to enjoy them whenever you were ready. She gave great instructions/ suggestions on how to start your painting to get a good finished product. the atmosphere was light and fun. “I’ve had my hair lifted and toned twice here. The overall vibe of the salon is very relaxed, and very clean. No overcrowded waiting areas, very professional and friendly. I was pleased with my hair both times, the first time more, the second service, I asked for it grayish, silver, icy all the words I used, but I got a bright yellow blonde color. While the color came out extremely well, and I really like it. It wasn’t what I asked for, or needed for professional reasons. I waited for the big reveal and she says you’re definitely silver so I was super excited, but when we got to her chair I was like, this is blonde, no where near silver. We went back and forth, and she explained that she’d have to make it white to get to silver, which didn’t matter in the moment because you didn’t make it white to get silver. After all that bleaching and having an engagement to get to, I wasn’t going to over process my hair to attempt to fix it. Now I have to see what I can do before I go in the office this week. Maybe this color thing isn’t for me.. The lighter hair is from earlier this year, and the yellow blonde is from this weekend’s visit. Again both are stunning, but I work in a law office. I needed what I needed, and didn’t get it.<br><br>Requested style: I requested silver, grayish, icy color.“

“Wow, this place exceeded expectations. I booked an appointment for waist length knotless braids first thing in the morning. When I arrived, the shop owner greeted me and immediately sat me in my chair, and started separating my hair. About 5 minutes in to the appointment two other young ladies entered and started working on my hair. The owner quoted 4hrs for the install and actually was finished with my hair in 3 1/2 hours. The staff was friendly, attentive, I felt welcomed and the price was fair for what I paid. I highly recommend“
