I have to be honest I was skeptical when i saw the reviews of this place. I have now been three times and have had a great experience every time. Yes, they ask you to pay in advance which I am guessing is more to protect them from walk outs. I pay up front and say I will give a tip after and that seems to be fine. The rooms are clean, the massages have been excellent and for the price it is great. This is not a Behtesda Spa, but for a quality massage I am a fan
Lol. The massage itself was OK. The major problem was a forced tip at the end. The total for two people was 120$ and after tipping 20$ (they left the room twice, there was no music, and they got the appointment time wrong so 20$ seemed more than fair and appropriate), I was scolded and told that it wasn't enough of a tip. Then she brought out a previously hidden tabletop sign saying they required 30$ tip. People.. tips are and should be voluntary additions for exceptional service. Don't get strong-armed into nonsense like this. I was feeling good after the massage but that interaction made the entire experience a waste of 150$. Try elsewhere.
I had a little extra time so I went into Lan Foot Spa to see if there was someone who could give me a 30 minute reflexology. The woman at the desk seemed a little annoyed that I didn't have an appointment, but she took me in the back and did the massage for me. They make you pay upfront, and now I know why. The 30 minute reflexology that I paid for turned out to be 16 minutes and during the 16 minutes she walked out of the room 3 times. when I complained about the 16 minutes, she acted like she didn't understand what I was saying. I've been here before, and was always pleased, but I'm very disappointed today.
