I was concerned about the heat but she gave me tips about keeping my hair healthy. She listens and asks me about the state of my hair. For example, I told her that I had very dry scalp toward winter time and she recommended a hot oil treatment. It worked wonders. Highly recommended“

“JSS has done it again everyone! It's been a year since my last review so I thought I'd share my new hair and experience. I was overdue for a hair trim so I reached out to Jessica and her availability. Booking was so fast and easy. In a matter of minutes I received my booking confirmation and any paperwork I needed to fill out. When I arrived, I'm greeted and assisted immediately. Their stations were slightly rearranged as there's some renovations occurring for the Japanese head massage they're trying to innovate. So, back to my hair! It was grown out, and it was long, black/blonde and needed some loving. I wanted to go dimensional with a lighter brunette. My hair is thick too so a trim was not out of the question. Emely was assisting as well and she's wonderful. I was definitely treated so well with all the snacks, drinks and girl talk! If you haven't been and want to invest in something as important as your hair, it's the place to be!“

“I had highlights done at another studio and did root touchups on my own. My hair was feeling brassy so thought I would try Studio AM based on high reviews. Anum took the time before my appt to understand my goals for the appt and we set up an appointment for a toner. When I got there and she looked at my hair, she suggested that I instead do a root color as the color I had done on my own was making my whole head feel brassy and the color was too warm. She explained that my highlights were actually a nice ash color, but the brassy roots was throwing it off. She also suggested this as a toner would reduce the overall appearance of my highlights which I confirmed I didn't want. She took the time to explain color theory and what to look for if I end up doing a root touchup on my own again. She got the root color perfect (blends so nicely with the rest of my hair) and because she got the brassiness out of the roots, the rest of my hair looks perfect too! Really appreciated her taking the time to get to the "root" of my problem :). She was also so sweet and efficient. Will absolutely come back again!“
