“Can't say enough good things about this place! I've enrolled my six month old pointer in their upland program and she is doing great with Cam's help. But even if you're not interested in the upland program, this is a really great place to train and/or board your dog. My puppy loves going back there. The staff are all clearly dog lovers. I use to live in the city and moved to the county... so driving back is not convenient... “I just lost my precious dachshund, Rusty. I have to talk of my experience at TLC. Dr. Lucas and I worked together when Rusty was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and later, kidney disease. We walked a tightrope, as Dr. Lucas described it, making medical decisions for both conditions. The heart condition alone usually has a year or less life expectancy. Rusty went on to 1 year and 8 months for me and my baby. In addition, the ladies loved on him sometimes calling him the Rust Man :) I even ended up going to a Vet ER before TLC opened, due to a breathing issue which can occur with the heart condition, and one of these wonderful ladies came and sat with me for several hours when she found out and got off work. I can't begin to describe the wonderful love shown to my boy at TLC. When he passed, there were tears from all, and Dr. Lucas called from his vacation to express his condolences. You will never go wrong bringing your sweet baby to TLC for Pets.“

“Brandonwood is my puppy’s happy place. She runs to the gate every morning when I drop her off and is exhausted when I pick her up. They are great with daycare and boarding. Highly recommend!!“

“A++++...I just felt it necessary to make another review since I have a new dog, rescue, named Sammy. When you consistently go back to the same groomer year after year there's a positive reason for that scenario. I met Erin when she was the "head groomer" at another facility and followed her when she moved out to start her own business. My dog is my family and his/her care is not taken lightly and I give that care to someone who I trust implicitly. Erin took such good care of my cocker, Brenna, for many years before I lost her November, 2023. In March, 2024, I was blessed with the opportunity to own a senior rescue with issues. Despite these issues, Erin has given him the most tender care, patience & understanding. She's in this business because she loves animals and that definitely shines through with her grooming. She always asks me how I want the cut and explains what she's going to do before I leave. There is a defined line of communication that she adheres to so the customer is always satisfied. That's one of the many reasons I love dealing with her. I can say, with the utmost honesty, that she is one of the best groomers around and I have had quite a few with "not so great" stories. I'm a widow now and have had many dogs. I live in White Marsh and travel to Pikesville just for her.“

“This is a great place for our 4 legged kids, my young boy is a big dog but gets anxious when he is away from us. The staff here understands his personality and takes care of him accordingly. We settled here after trying a few places in the neighborhood. They are all very friendly and always greet us with a smile.“

“My dogs are in their golden years (17 & 15), so they require especially gentle care. The proprietor was so good to them that when I returned to pick up my pups, I found them relaxing in their crate together after their grooming session. I was informed they had even been napping while they waited for me, a sure sign of comfort.

My 15 year old has a big dose of Jack Russell Terrier in her, so holding still for nail trims has never been easy. She received one of the best trims she has ever had at A-1, ensuring that I will certainly return for future appointments.“

“We woke up at 9 this Sunday morning to find our Jardine parrot Jordan had managed to chew open a steel toy chain ring, and it was stuck on his lower beak. The closest emergency vet to us is Annapolis, but they told us they don't treat parrots and told us to call Falls Road. Dorothy answered and told us to bring him right in. It was a 45 minute drive, hoping and praying they'd be able to remove the chain but expecting they'd need to anesthetize him. Dorothy took him straight back when we arrived and we anxiously sat in the waiting room. Not five minutes later, Dr Bloom came out with a chain-free Jordan perched on her hand! They were able to cut it off without putting him under. When we got him home, he ate, drank, and then climbed to his sleeping perch for a well-deserved nap. We are so relieved and grateful.“

“I needed my cats nails cut asap. Catonsville location allowed me to come in the same day. When i called Owings mills location, no one from grooming ever answered the phone. When someone else answered from another dept, i was told to put my name on a list and Miles would call me back. I've put my name on the list before and no one called me back. I've gone to Owings mills location several times asking about getting my cats nails cut and no one is ever available. Catonsville location was very friendly and made time to fit me in for something that would only take 5 minutes.“
