But even if you're not interested in the upland program, this is a really great place to train and/or board your dog. My puppy loves going back there. The staff are all clearly dog lovers. “My dogs and I absolutely love PUPS training. Karen and Krystin and Val teach your dog to think. There is no food reward. A prong collar is used. Your dog’s confidence soars because your dog figures things out. The dogs love it and respond so very positively to it. When I train at home, all the dogs want to join the fun. And, they remember every detail even years later, because it all makes sense to them and was presented in a fun and logical way. Yes, there are corrections that you and your dog learn. It’s all real and fair and your dog has respect for the process. Karen has taught me a great deal about observing dogs and reading their language. When someone else answered from another dept, i was told to put my name on a list and Miles would call me back. I've put my name on the list before and no one called me back. I've gone to Owings mills location several times asking about getting my cats nails cut and no one is ever available. Catonsville location was very friendly and made time to fit me in for something that would only take 5 minutes.“
