“When I needed a vet to come and care for my geriatric cat, I went through a list of 7 potential companies and vets and called them all to request appointments. Of this list; 2 answered to say they did not do house calls; I left messages (emails and voicemails) for 4; and only 1, Dr. Perl, returned my call and came out. I am so glad he did. He is professional and friendly, and makes you and your pet feel safe and warm. He was able to quickly analyze the situation and explain it in clear terms. Unfortunately my cat is not going to live much longer, but he gave good advice that ensured I was not going to put my cat through any further discomfort or trauma or unnecessary treatments. I know from past experience that taking my cat to certain emergency hospitals would result in the opposite. Dr. Perl is so good that I would happily pay more for his type of service. The only reason I was hesitant to write a review is because he is already in high demand - but this means he needs an assistant! If you know a good vet who would like to join a wonderful doctor, send them to Dr. Perl!“

Luckily, Rockville is under a hour away but even if it weren’t, I’d be happy to drive twice the distance.“
“We have been going to College Park Animal Hospital for over 20 years. They have reliably treated our 3 dogs and now our cat. They are responsive and excellent diagnosticians. Our dogs made it to 15 years old each and I would expect our cat to live longer. Great staff.“

“Have received exceptional service and care from BAH. I have never had to wait more than a couple minutes for my appointment to begin, all of the staff are friendly and helpful. They were able to perform a delicate procedure to remove a mass that another vet did not feel comfortable doing. A year later, we still have our wonderful kitty. Highly recommend this vet.“

“Our beloved girl Betty Boop (a 9-year old Boston Terrier) had a serious eye problem this morning - she had a small tear on the surface of her cornea and she kept pawing at it which further inflamed the red in her eye. Neither her opthamologist nor our regular vet could see her today. We asked our vet if there was any place they could suggest for help today. Our regular vet said PetWell is very good based on feedback from pet owners who have used them.We decided to give PetWell a try and it was great. The vet examined Betty's eye and gave her two prescriptions. Betty isn't healed yet, but she is much more comfortable and the redness in her eye is subsiding. We highly recommend PetWell.Update: We subsequently got an appointment at Veterinary Referral Associates for a.veterinary ophthamologist to look at her eye. He recommended continuing with the medication initially prescribed by the PetWell doctor and adding another medicine.The ophthamologist noted that he was impressed with the PetWell vet's choice of medicine to treat Betty's eye. I'm extremely satisfied with this Petwell location.“

“My wife and I have been clients of Town & Country Animal Clinic in Olney for a few years and are so pleased with their excellent care and service. Yesterday, after much agonizing, we took our beloved Teddy (Wheaten Terrier - 14 years) for a consultation with Dr. Wilmot before having him put down. I called for an appointment yesterday morning and they were completely booked for the week but the very competent and caring lady on the phone (Christina, I believe) said she would check with the vets on duty and call me back, which she did a few minutes later. I arrived at 11:45 and put in a room with my dog until the vet came in and spent a lot of time speaking with me and my son before we collectively arrived at the decision to put him down. I am so grateful and appreciative for their caring service, from start to finish. Thank you!“
