“I have been going to Dr. Ford’s office since Taylor Johnson was the dermatologist and she joined his practice, 40 years, since 1984. I now live in Harper’s Ferry WV and drive an hour + to my appointments. All her staff is so friendly. The center for cosmetic and clinical dermatology provides a wide range of treatments and services for their patients. And takes a personal interest in each person who they treat.“

“I was looking for assurances that the cracked blemished parchment paper that’s replaced my smooth supple leather integument was part of the normal aging process. I was also concerned about potential sun damage/skin cancer spots. Dr. DiLorenzo tolerated my babble while conducting a thorough exam. Once completed, she fully addressed my additional concerns and then recommended several skin care products I should try (with samples). “Dr Lin is very nice and extremely perky but I'm not 100% sure she is really listening to the issues you are describing. A cheery upbeat response is not necessarily the right answer to a particularly serious issue that is troubling a patient, and could be perceived as minimizing the patient's feelings about the issue. I think Dr Lin should dial up the gravitas and dial back the perkiness a bit as she is otherwise a lovely person and competent doctor“

“Feb 22 2023, I came to Sona Dermatology for Mohs surgery, to remove a large scalp tumor.Since then, for half a year, I have been coming back 2-3 times a week for my wound dressing, while undergoing cancer treatment.I love the nurses and the staffs. When I was late because of radiation treatment, Yuri and Dayo stayed late to wait for me. Head nurse Lydia went above and beyond to shave and clean my scalp multiple times when no barbers are qualified to handle the delicate skin around the wound. The wound redressing was labor intensive, sometimes with smelly oozing but the nurses always make me feel so relaxed to be in good hands.Dr. Yu would come in every time to inspect the wound and gave words of comfort. He is concerned about my underlying cancer and not only recommended the best radiologist, but also kept my other doctors updated on my wound. He even gave me a miraculously recovered terminal cancer patient testimonial booklet to inspire me not to give up.The whole clinic has such a friendly and welcoming vibe. I was always greeted with a smile and by name. With my other appointments I often have to reschedule and it is good to have an understanding and accommodating scheduling staff. Jordan and others at the front desk are always willing to work with me. For the many appointments there, I rarely have to wait.I am extremely lucky to be under the care of such a group of competent and caring and loving medical professionals. “I have had a really good experience with Dr. Katz. He's helpful, will explain if I need more information and has really helped me with my eczema and acne. He's direct but the guy knows what he's doing and personally that's my preference. I also have to say, Leah, who I believe is the medical assistant/nurse, is amazing. She has really gone above and beyond for me when I switched insurance companies and have had many issues going through approvals for my specialty medication.
