5050-A Nicholson Ln, Rockville“I was looking into after school activities for my kids and considered various sports, gymnastics, and martial arts before deciding to enroll them in WTMA. As parents, we looked for a program that would instill values and lessons to our children that they can carry with them now into adulthood. With the free trial here, both my kids were able to be challenged both physically and mentally and showed interest in committing to learning taekwondo. Although we've only been enrolled for about 4 months we already see the benefits of our investment in these classes as our children have grown not only in their physicality and flexibility but also in their confidence and discipline. They always look forward to attending their classes and strive to attain their next belt rank. The schedule is also very flexible (4 options a week for their level) and makeups are easy to do as you can just drop into more classes if one is missed from the previous week. The instructors and staff are very organized and respectful, and the community of children and parents enrolled are warm and welcoming as well. We are so happy to be part of the WTMA family!“

20300 Seneca Meadows Pkwy #110, Germantown“I highly recommend training at Krav Oz.
This is my third year here. I've been to other gyms before and have attended drop-in classes at other gyms (during holidays or travels) after joining KO and talked to several members who (themselves or their kids) have been training at KO for over 5 years. So I can give some perspective on what makes KO stand out.
KO has a clean facility, well-organized teaching curriculum, skilled and certified instructors, different types of self defense and fitness classes. They regularly bring in well-renowned instructors to teach Muy Thai, BJJ, and Knife Control Concept seminars.
While Combat sports are intrinsically risky, at KO they emphasize training safely (teaching us how to protect ourselves and our partners).
Most importantly, I liked the community. The staff pleasantly greets you when you enter KO. If you are new to KO, they'll introduce you to other members. KO also organizes UFC watch parties, holiday parties and socials around the area, which helps build connections outside of training.
Members too are welcoming. I've made some good friends here. We train together, motivate each other during difficult exercises or days when you don't feel like working out. Folks here genuinely care about your progress.
Having a fun, supportive and safe environment at KO has helped me stay consistent in my training, learn self defense and improve my fitness.
Stop by for a tour of the facility, take a drop-in class, talk to members and decide for yourself if it's the right fit for you. If it isn’t the right fit, I think the staff might even suggest you a gym that better suits your (training/schedule) needs.“

All the instructors are loving what they are doing and it's easily being transferred to the kids. My kids became more focus and more disciplined. The patience that the instructors have is unbelievable. I highly recommend this studio. And thank you to all of them for what they are doing for the students.“

My youngest started due to a bullying incident and Mr Derek and Ms Angela immediately provided options on how to address the situation. Ever since then I was hooked. They treat him and all the students with love and care and their dedication and expertise in their craft definitely show. My child has developed and become so much more confident and I guarantee it’s because of Mr Derek and Ms Angela. All the instructors are amazing. Some are students themselves and I’ve watched them become more confident as well. Which is amazing to witness!“

“I feel like I am going to see my family and have fun every time when I take myself and my children for Karate class. I miss the TKA family badly as I am not registered for the last two sessions for being busy with school. I can’t wait to restart next Spring. I just registered my two children, one who has blue belt and the other one has a green belt. I have green belt as well.“

12109 Darnestown Rd, Gaithersburg“My family has been coming to this location for more than 5 years and it’s had a tremendous impact on my boys and their physical/mental/social health. The teachers here are kind, patient, and FUN. I always enjoy watching their classes and seeing them build skills through drills, partner activities, and games. My boys love coming and it’s been so rewarding watching them earn different belts over the years. As a bonus, over the last year, I’ve joined their kickboxing classes and have seen my own transformation. Their adult kickboxing classes provide fun full-body workouts that I can follow at my own pace. Coming to Kicks is truly the highlight of our week. I’m sure all locations are great, but teachers here are special.“

“The best of the best for authentic from a true pure of source of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Mario and Fernando Yamasaki are the forerunners of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the DC area.
Mario arrived 27 years ago, bringing with him the unfiltered, not for sale, but you have to earn it, through 1000's of hours of blood, sweat and tears to become a black belt instruction.
His brother Fernando brings the same mindset to the school, providing top-notch instruction to his students.
Great place to learn and grow.
I am thankful for the years of instruction and being a part of the Yamasaki family.
Oss.“
