This family-owned gem radiates positive vibes, with instructors who are truly black belts in awesomeness. Kids can't get enough of their martial arts magic, and the friendly atmosphere is simply unbeatable.“
“The master of this studio is one of the most present people I have ever met. He manages, leads, and inspires a diverse and ever-changing student body with patience and insight, working with five year olds and fifty year olds with the same intensity, respect, and humor. It's an honor and privilege to be able to train here. The training pushes me to my limits and is incredibly rewarding.“
“Master Cho is a PHENOMENAL TKD master. The way he interacts with his students and how he tailors to each individual student’s needs are truly exceptional! And he does all this while being professional, kind, and FUN at the same time! I have never seen a master like him in all my family’s years of TKD—including my younger brother, and now my husband and children!“

12357 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring“I have three kids attending Dragon Martial Art. This is a great place for kids to learn Taekwondo while building confidence and discipline. Master Yong and his staff are wonderful with kids. Master Yong’s instruction program is a combination of teaching martial arts with implication of moral values, discipline, and respect. You can always feel the positive energy from the instructor’s passion for the work that he does. We are impressed with Master Yong’s capability in motivating the kids to strive for their best while making them laugh and have fun. My kids are excited to come to Dragon everyday and enjoy every moment of it.“
“My son enjoyed taking taekwondo classes here for almost a year and a half, and my wife loved the women's self-defense classes for over a year. Everyone there was always super helpful and responsive if there were ever any questions.Master Thompson is a top notch instructor and it was great to see his passion for what he does every time we were there.“

“My son has been taking class here for a year and the experience is very positive! He learned about discipline and how to respect, as well as self confidence when he receives strips and new belt. It’s also a great amount of exercise for young kids.“
“My son's experience at Kicks Karate has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot in the facility, we knew it was the right place for him. The instructors are top-notch (Mr. Gray and his team) and have created a safe and positive learning environment. One of the standout aspects of Kicks Karate is the emphasis on self-discipline. From the very beginning, my son was taught the importance of respect, responsibility, and self-control. The instructors utilize various techniques to teach these values, such as instilling discipline through specific routines and drills. The results of this emphasis on self-discipline have been remarkable. My son has developed a strong sense of discipline and has been able to apply these skills in other areas of his life. He has become more organized and focused, which has positively impacted his academic performance. Furthermore, Kicks Karate has boosted my son's self-confidence in a remarkable way. The instructors provide constant support and encouragement, which has helped him believe in his abilities and never give up. He has gained a sense of pride and accomplishment after every training session, which has undoubtedly contributed to his overall self-confidence. Before enrolling him in Kicks Karate, we tried other sports activities such as baseball, soccer, and basketball. While he enjoyed these sports, there was something unique about Kicks Karate that captivated him. The instructors have a deep understanding of the age group and have created programs that cater to his needs and abilities. The classes at Kicks Karate are structured in a way that is engaging and challenging for my son. The instructors use a combination of drills, games, and real-life scenarios to make the sessions enjoyable while providing a practical application for the skills he is learning. The instructors at Kicks Karate are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely care about the well-being of their students. They take the time to get to know each student on a personal level, offering support and guidance when needed. Their passion for teaching and their love for the sport are evident in every class. Overall, our experience with Kicks Karate has been amazing. My son has not only learned valuable self-defense skills but also has developed self-discipline and boosted his self-confidence. The instructors are top-notch, the programs are great, and the gym provides a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a martial arts program for their children.“
“The instructors are great with kids. Our experience is still great. My son now knows the basics on how to defend himself from a bully if that ever happens. A sense of security.“

9118 Rothbury Dr, Montgomery Village“My son and I have been studying here for well over a year. While not as "combat - oriented" as I'd prefer, Korean Martial Arts is an exceptional option for families. Master Kim brings a wealth of knowledge and real-life experience to the table. He relates to children and youth very well. I would 100% recommend Korean Martial Arts as a decent school for families who want to study together and as a way to build a child's self- esteem, confidence and discipline. Spending time as a father in class with my son is priceless and he will remember this time for the rest of his life as he works hard to progress through the training. The price is right and very competitive for our area and the number of classes students can attend to fit the parent schedule is also very flexible.“
“We love this Kicks Karate location. Mr. Esaul is great. My 4 year old absolutely loves going to class. A little bit of firmness and a whole lot of fun.“

“We do Karate and Day Camp. Kang's is an amazing place to build your childs confidence, broaden their perspective, focus their energy and build community.Day Camp Review: My boys absolutely love it. They come home totally fulfilled with the activities, extremely tired and excited for the next day. They were never like this before with camp, I was always begging them to go. Lead counselor Christine, puts safety first but it doesn't limit the kids fun, I still don't know how she does it. My boys tell me all that they do and with great excitement! Christine is a great leader and easy to communicate with. I am so delighted with Kang's summer camp. Wish we did it last year, when my oldest son started getting bullied at the other camp and the counselor just ignored it.Karate Review: This is the answer to bullying, the Masters at Kang's have a way with the kids that help them reach their potential and build confidence all the while having fun. It is more than worth the price. We are big fans of all that Kang's has done for our boys.“
