They basically gutted the 22 x 12 room, installed insulation, drywall, lighting and a gas fireplace, creating a new master bedroom. Later, they installed a deck at the rear of the home. Finally, they helped prepare the home for sale ... power washing, painting inside and out, repairing mortar on retaining walls and foundation, replacing kitchen and bathroom fixtures, roofing, and addition of exterior lighting. They cleaned and repaired mortar on woodburning fireplace and chimney. Julio and his team were flexible, addressing additional issues as they arose and responding to specific requests. “I had an ongoing sewage backup in my outside basement stairwell since last December 2021. I had gotten three estimates; Mr Nelson's was very reasonable. My plumbing problem was that the sewage pipe is galvanized and had deteriorated. It was the original pipe of my 1949 row home, and the main problem with the pipe extended into the recreation room of the basement. They were going to have to dig. My anxiety went through the roof; however, Mr Nelson diffused my fears and worked with me. He and his team explained the entire procedure, broke it down where I clearly understood, and also provided me a status with pictures. This company is very meticulous about their work, and they clean up and haul away excess debris and mud. I am very happy, and the sewage pipe and drain now work perfectly. Nelson will definitely be my plumbing first choice, and I highly recommend them.“

“We have used Joseph Klockner and Co. for four different projects in the past 8 years. A complete remodel of the kitchen and extending the back of the house with attendant demolition , new foundations, electrical, plumbing, HVAC upgrades, painting, etc. The workmanship was excellent. They were easy to work with. Later projects included a tricky roof repair, building a front porch and painting the exterior of the house, and last a combination of carpentry and painting. We understood that the timing of our smaller projects would be integrated into other pending projects of the company and therefore took place over a few months. If you are comfortable with that you will have a very hard time finding a better team for your job v“

He really listened to me during the design phase to ensure that we were going to build what I wanted. He even helped me find an engineer for the necessary drawings. They were able to get the necessary permits from DCRA and answer all their questions. There was an issue with the project due to the weather, and Evail came out on Christmas day to address it! I was extremely satisfied the basement stairs and entry that they built. When it was time to pay the bill, everything was straight forward and as promised in the beginning.
