As a retiree, internal medicine at this place is absolutely horrible. The quality of care or lack thereof is truly sad. We pay for Tricare Prime, which goes up annually and to go here and be dismissed by the doctors and get subpar Healthcare is beyond ridiculous. And if you try and voice it to them, they do not care at all. I had a life changing medical event occur, and it was downplayed by the PCM we saw, then was given limited to no guidance, which led to us seeking healthcare somewhere else. I am grateful I did, I needed additional referrals, and I also still have ongoing issues from the event. I still had follow-ups with the PCM from Malcolm Grow due to medication, but the quality of care remained the same. The second follow-up was short and to the point, I said what I had to say and got my meds straighted out and left and doubted he or anyone cared that I voiced how truly dissatisfied I was with the care there. Today I was supposed to have a phone follow-up with the same PCM and after waiting over 15 minutes past my appointment time I got the call from a different provider who starts the conversation off with "what do you want to discuss today", needless to say it was the same thing. I voiced my frustration, and she dismissed me as well, although she did offer a generic apology at the end of our conversation for my past experience. Look, I worked with patients when I served and the one thing I learned was to treat the person across from you like the way you wanted to be treated, for some, you are meeting them on the worse day of their lives and maybe that is asking too much but to show just some humanity especially to those men and women who have served before you, really, I don't think so. Do better!
This is the worst medical facility I've been to in my life! Every receptionist I've dealt with is rude and all the doctors I've been seen by seem to know very little or just don't care about their patients in addition to their poor attitudes. I waited an hour and a half for my appoitment just to be told that my doctor went to a meeting instead of my appoitment. I would rather go to Belvoir. Beautiful building, but just goes to show that looks are deceiving.
The Doctor was a Captain in the Air Force , his bedside manors were terrible. Treated a Veteran of 26 years with depression and anxiety, in a manner I had never experienced before. He was overly aggressive and rude. Hope the next visit will be better.
