“Very knowledgeable staff! Between my virtual and in- person consultations, I was thoroughly impressed by the staff, their knowledge, and just hospitality. I felt so comfortable with them that I immediately made my first appointment for 2 days after my consultation. I am a few days post that appointment, and Dr. Tawana was great. She put me at ease for my laser treatment, explaining what to expect, she seemed to t truly care about me like we were of friends. I'm happy with the results so far. She always explains exactly what she is doing and what she is seeing. “Following a course of chemotherapy, Dr. Rad was present for my bilateral mastectomy and he placed my tissue expanders. Months later, once I healed from radiation treatment, he performed my DIEP flap reconstruction. Dr. Rad is a consummate professional and a precise and skilled surgeon. He took copious amounts of time with me - whether in person or over the phone - and consistently answered my questions in great detail and with a tremendous amount of patience. My emails and calls were always promptly returned by his staff even if they did not immediately have an answer for me. Scheduling appointments was very easy. My breast cancer diagnosis came as a complete shock. Navigating this new terrain was often difficult, but Dr. Rad made the reconstruction piece easy. I trusted him. I feel lucky that Dr. Rad was my surgeon for my DIEP flap surgery, and I recommend him to anyone in a similar position to mine.“

“Went in for my first treatment with the v-beam, great first experience! She explained everything that was going on while doing the treatment and made sure breaks were included if needed.“

“Excellent initial exam! Joan is very pleasant, knowledgeable, and thorough. Got to appointment early and was seen on time. Plenty of free parking. Patient portal provides very useful information and is easy to navigate.
The only downside to this practice is that all phone calls are handled through a national call center. Expect to wait a while before your call is answered and don't expect to be connected to your practice office or provider if you want to speak with them. Wish this weren't the case. My 5 star rating excludes the national call center issue. And by the way, if you need to contact Joan directly, you can reach out to her via the portal (but I haven't had to use that feature yet).“

“I saw Dr. Cole at the Rockville location. The office is about an hour and half from where I live. She is highly rated so I selected her as the dermatologist to perform a full body examination for skin cancer.

I was a bit nervous because I have never done this before. After the visit, I was very happy with the results and the service.

It did not take long to fill out the application and to be seen. I arrived there 43 minutes early because I knew-- as a new patient--I would have to fill out an application.

Dr. Cole examined my body thoroughly. I like that she talks to me during examination--asking questions and explaining things to me.

The whole process was smooth from the application to the examination. Thus, I gave a 5*“

“Dr. Khan is amazing! I’ve been going here for a few months for hair removal and have been so happy with the results. Not only is the office super clean, scheduling was easy, I was talked through the whole process and made to feel comfortable and on your first visit you get a free goodies bag! The staff are super warm and welcoming and Dr. Khan herself is very knowledgeable and kind as this was my first time I was super nervous. My sister had gotten hair removal on her legs and had horrible scarring so I was afraid to go get it done. I had no scarring saw results right away and the office calls you after your first visit to check in with you and make sure your treatment has no ill effects. I started with hair removal on one area and because of the results I added another area. Highly recommend Dr. Khan at at Washington institute of Dermatology!“
