“I have used the services of Chris Marshall (The North Star Companies) on two occasions. The first time was a remodeling of a master bathroom which was challenging because of the slate tiles I really liked. But it turned out spectacularly, on-time and on-budget! The second time was unintended, about 6 months later when I had two mature oak trees fall on my house during a derocho, which was a major headache not only from a re-build perspective, but also as it was an insurance job. It included major repairs to the main roof (new trusses, roof and gutters), repairs for water damage on three floors and the replacement of a roof deck, the ceiling, side walls and all the custom fittings to a new addition I had completed just one year prior. Chris Marshall and his excellent team of subs not only got me back in my house within 3 months, but worked tirelessly with the insurance company to put my house back together, even better than before.
