“Fantastic experience! Had a piece done on my upper arm by Kinsey and I love it. The process was super easy from initially contacting her to final ink on skin. The studio itself is superb. Clean, comfortable, and super cool. Kinsey was a delight to work with. Super easy to talk to. I brought a bag full of stuff to pass the time and didn't use any of it. We ended up just talking for the whole 6-hour session. Overall, a perfect experience and if/when I have more work done, it will definitely be here.“

“Had an amazing time at Ripped! Went with a group to get friendship tattoos and it was such a blast. The place was super clean and welcoming, and the staff were so friendly. They even offered us snacks and cold drinks, which was a lifesaver on a hot summer day. Jose was our artist, but honestly, I'd be happy with any of the artists there. They all made us feel so special, and even the owner took the time to chat with our group. It really felt like a special Baltimore experience.“

“What a wonderful experience. Every so often a place of business will raise the bar for the industry. After being tattooed the past 8 years in a variety of high-end shops in DC and Northern VA, I was blown away by the place. This has to be the most state of the art and clean studios I have ever seen. It is located off a main highway, in a nice quiet industrial park with a nice forrest view. There is ample free parking. The inside of Painful Pleasures looks brand new and is very, very well kept. Hell, even the bathroom has automatic sink and soap dispenser, the floor is immaculate. Every little detail is taken care of. The individual rooms they use for tattooing have private TVs and radio options. The tattoo chair is ergonomic and very comfortable. My artist had the cleanliness and professionalism that could make most ERs look silly. There is also a feature to turn the clear glass walls opaque for tattoos in places that not everybody gets to see. All of the supplies are top notch and they don't skimp. My artist even cleaned the chair in front of me with bleach based cleaner before getting started (despite the fact it was already clean). He also opened all needles in front of me and changed gloves repeatedly to avoid any cross contamination. I was hesitant to post because I am selfishly hoping to allow this studio to be the best kept secret in the DMV area, but when a business and an artist put this much effort into customer experience and work, recognition is mandatory.“

“I walked in as a nervous wreck, being a tattoo noob, and from the get-go Anastasia did an excellent job helping me to quash my anxiety. The place was super clean (including the restroom and all surfaces), had excellent art on the walls, and a nice soundtrack. “For my first time ever getting a tattoo, this shop really solidified the experience for me. I called the shop soon after they opened & after hearing that they take walk ins, I sent my inspiration photos, calmed myself (because my nervous excitement was very real I found myself on the cobblestone streets where Saints & Sinners is. Dwaine greeted me & gave me a concise rundown of the process. Upon hearing it was my first time, he was very warm and reassured me that I was in good hands. Waited while my design was drawn up by Dave (who is also the resident landscaper) & took in all the inspiration on the walls. There were frames and books a-plenty. About 10 minutes later, Dave tells me to come upstairs - it's getting real now! From the time he laid the stencil down to the last swipe took all of a solid 20 minutes; I hadn't even got to the juicy part of the podcast I was listening to. After my tears (happy & bittersweet ones for personal reasons) and my payment, I left the shop with my tattoo wrapped well & with stickers, pins and lollipops in my aftercare kit. Sweet. All in all, this was easily the best hour of my day & I can't wait to see how well it will heal. You have a customer in me, Dave - thank you so much.“

“I had my ears re-pierced by Corina and it was a fantastic experience. I had taken my earrings out during the early days of the pandemic but wanted to reopen the holes for my wedding and I explained this to Corina and she was a fantastic resource and worked with me to clear out the holes i had and reopen them.
The price is a bit steep but honestly you are paying for sanitation, customer service, the hand made jewelry and the one to one consultation and work. I would recommend her to anyone looking to be pierced. It was a very lovely experience!“

“My experience was a good 4/5. Everyone was nice in the shop. I originally asked for my daughter’s birth month flower (Lily of the valley) but ended up with a sunflower. Tattoo was done in less than a hour. Paid $270. $250 for the tattoo and $20 tip. A little over priced but I really wanted it done. Will be returning for my touch up in about 4 weeks.
