Te staff and veterinarians care about four-legged family members and treat them with love and respect. The veterinarians are able to explain problems that surface and what treatment options are available. We highly recommend this practice.“

“Thank you so much for squeezing Captain Morgan in. Dr. Alcott was great, I really appreciate the time he took with us and explaining things. I will try to keep him from eating stuff from outside which is almost close to impossible. It took a good week and he finished his medication and is back to "normal".

“Big shout-out to the Highland Veterinary Hospital team. Today I had to put down my 16 year old dog, and Dr. Gary and his team came all the way out to my house so that he could pass comfortably in a familiar place. They were professional and compassionate throughout the entire process, asking me questions and explaining everything along the way. They handled all paperwork in advance so that I could just be in the moment to say goodbye to my dog. All of our clinic visits have been very pleasant as well, and I never feel like they were pushing unnecessary things on me. Highly recommend!“

“Dr. Steere is an absolutely fantastic vet for our lab and cat. She goes above and beyond in her care of our pet family. She has guided us on our allergy treatment of our lab through multiple treatment options. Dr. Steere clearly relays the pros and cons of every medical decision she makes to us.

“My pom went in for his dental. Usually my vet does the cleaning but his k9 was lose, and I was referred there. Dr. Kim was awesome and comforting. She explained everything in detail and why he needed all his teeth remove. She was so sweet to both me and my pom. After the surgery, she sent me pictures of before, during and after, which I very much appreciate. I also like that they are very thorough with the pre-op. The front desk was very nice. Overall, I had a good experience. For improvement -- with the amount of money you pay, I feel like we all should have a red carpet treatment. As soon as you walk into the place, it says something about if your dog poop/pee, it’s your responsibility to clean up. I think they should have a warmer welcome sign. As a pet parent, I’m nervous as it is. If our dogs poop/pee, help us clean it up especially the amount we’re paying. While we’re holding our babies who could be in pain and nervous, let us just focus on that. My poms never poop and pee in a doctor’s office before, but I feel for other pawrents. Lastly, I do think the price is outrageous. It was almost $5000!“

Always very happy with the above and beyond service from the vets, the techs, and the front of the house staff who are friendly and helpful every visit. I almost hate referring people to Countryside because they are frequently busy and it can be a challenge to get appointments - although on several occasions now when one of my dogs has an immediate problem they have accommodated us for same-day visits. We trust them with the lives of our cherished ladies - I'm not sure there can be a higher compliment than that.“

“Dr. Cujdik is beyond amazing! My French bulldog had an infected tail pocket from a corkscrew tail. The corkscrew tail needed to be removed immediately and Dr. Cujdik is the only vet that I trust to put my dog under anesthesia, especially with being a frenchie and with a serious surgery like this. Dr. Cujdik and his coworkers including Ryan and Paras were incredible to work with! Dr. Cujdik, Ryan and Paras made Nino so comfortable during each visit, answered all of my questions, and made the process super smooth! They are so kind and truly love animals!

My pup, Nino, is scared of everything and they all have a very loving and calming personality that Nino quickly warmed up to! Dr. Cujdik walked me through all the details of the procedure, pre and post surgery care, and answered all of my million questions with so much kindness and compassion! Dr. Cujdik checked in on Nino many times and I know he truly cared how Nino was doing. I would highly recommend Dr. Cujdik and Fulton Animal hospital to everyone! “I highly recommend Rocky Gorge for emergency treatment and any surgical procedure your animal needs. Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital is an economical piece of heaven filled with talented, compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, beyond friendly and truly remarkable angels. My dog was seriously injured in an accident and needed a difficult orthopedic surgery. Dr. Morris, who also performed my family dog's ACL surgery, performed my dogs fractured humerus surgery exceeding well, especially given its level of difficulty, while being extremely conscientious of the cost to the customer. They have been a Godsend in performing my dogs difficult surgery while giving her the best care I could ask for, using a laser to close up her wounds after surgery, and doing this all with the foundation in mind to make it as affordable to the client as possible for example not charging me for suture removal. They provided an estimate that included a low end and high end of the procedure, and I always felt that they followed a code of ethics that I never felt like my dogs care and treatment was being exploited and capitalized on but the very opposite. I'm so grateful for Rocky Gorge because they took beyond exceptional care for my dog during surgeries and procedures and made it so without leaving me in years of debt. Thank you to the incredible orthopedic surgeon Dr. Morris, and all the staff, technicians and pharmacists that help set my mind at ease during the extremely difficult time for me going through a serious accident with my dog.
