The overnight care they receive via Shannon and Doug is even better than having them stay with family or friends. They are so attentive to our dogs' every and varied needs.Prior to the overnight stay, Shannon takes a lot of time to get to know the dogs needs and asks all the right questions. While we are away, we get great updates and photos — very reassuring when you are a hemisphere away! I'm especially heartened by Shannon's expertise with small dogs as this is an important factor for me when I look for caretakers for our pups. We lovingly spoil our dogs and we're so happy to have found care for them that knows to do the very same!“

“I enjoyed my beginners training with Allie. My dog is very reactive and can never relax. It was nice to see other owners having a range of issues. It’s obvious Allie is a pro. It comes down to practice outside of class to be successful. The in-class training was clear to me and my pup was able to catch on quickly. Definitely a great price for the expertise and space.“

“My dog has severe separation anxiety, and this is the only place we’ve ever boarded her where she hasn’t destroyed everything she owns. She actually gets really excited when we pull in the driveway, and she realizes where she’s going; then she jumps out of the car so she can run to Mr. Whiteleather. He takes excellent care of her, and she absolutely loves him. I’m happy because Mr. Whiteleather is kind and the price is right. But mostly we continue coming because our dog loves it so much. Be prepared to show copies of your vet records each time and to pay with cash/check.“

“We dropped off our dog for two nights. Check-in was very simple and quick. Check-out was also very simple and quick. They have plenty of parking, plenty of areas where your pet can relieve themselves. I thought the price for each night was very reasonable! I will definitely be going back.“

“The care I received for my 16 yr old dog has always been outstanding. The vets and entire staff have always been professional and caring which included wellness care, surgeries, teeth cleaning and senior care (heart murmur and kidney disease). I recently had to euthanize my senior dog Pac. As usual they gave us their utmost care and patience. Someone came out to the car to carry Pac inside. We were greeted and a room was ready for us. They gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye and explained the process. I'm thankful I chose PG Animal Hospital to handle the last moments with Pac. We were able to caress Pac and kiss him while he fell asleep peacefully. Thank you for always taking care of Pac. I would recommend PG Animal Hospital to anyone who needs a vet. “In my 30 years on this earth, my parents have brought all our animals here for end of life care (as far as I can remember), so when my beloved dog Tot passed away on Amtrak on a trip home from New York, this seemed like the right place to come. We called ahead (well, my dad did because I was catatonic in my grief) and when we arrived the ushered us straight back into a private room where they kindly explained our options and then left us alone to say goodbye for as long as we needed.
