During the week of Thanksgiving, various units in my mother’s senior apartment community in Baltimore, Maryland experienced a small fire and major water damage. The restoration was handled by a team from Minkoff Company. The water was removed, and several machines were placed in the hallway and inside of the affected apartments to dry the flooring.I want to express my sincere gratitude to the team for the outstanding service they provided during this emergency. My mother is 85 years old and uses an oxygen concentrator 24 hours a day. My Hot Water heater broke and I reached out to Minkoff immediately. By 11:30 they had a crew at my house, clearing up the water and removing the carpet and padding. Yanira U and Hector L were the first to arrive and quickly started clearing out the water. Once the carpet and padding were removed, we determined what else needed to be removed. Travis S was able to take away all of the wet and un-usable items. They setup fans to dry the rest of the room and flooring. They treated my possessions as if they were their own, and were careful to cover and secure things when they set up the fans. Several weeks ago, my condo unit and thirteen others in my tier experienced major water damage. A team from Minkoff responded quickly and are now handling the restoration. All the teams involved in the project have been professional and expert at their jobs. They've also been very helpful and considerate. They made sure all my belongings were protected while they worked and left everything spotless before leaving each day. Now my unit is finished, everything looks good as new, and I can put everything back in place and enjoy my home again.
