I've had two great experiences with Choice Concrete. The first project was the expansion of my driveway converting from asphalt to concrete. This project also included adding a walkway from the curb to my front steps. A smaller walkway was installed from the driveway which connected to the front walkway. The work was beautifully done and we always get compliments on our driveway and walkway. The second project was the demolition of my shed and a concrete pad was installed to support the new shed I was having someone build. Choice was great. We had several challenges Rui and his crew tackled successfully. The soil did not have a great bearing capacity in some places requiring extra excavation and some extra steel they provided at no extra cost .They said they would complete the project( remove and replace driveway) in two days.The driveway is 75 ft long by 11 to 18 ft wide in places. The drainage grading changes from one direction in the front to opposite direction in the rear. That was handled superbly. My new driveway looks great, and the process was easier and quicker than I expected. Because the Choice Concrete quote was so much lower than other companies (by about 20%), I was a little leery at first. However, after learning about the other larger, commercial jobs the company completed, I was less concerned. Each employee with whom I was in contact was informative, helpful and responsive, including Robin, John and the owner. The crew was careful in the work that they did, and the end result is quite attractive - for concrete, that is.
