“I came to Animal Place Veterinary Hospital to get a second opinion regarding a very tough decision about our cat. It was close to the holidays, and I was having a rough time with the decision. The whole staff was extremely compassionate: from sharing encouraging words, to showing me ways to help my cat be as comfortable as possible at home. I was incredibly lucky to have found them when I did, and I appreciate all the support that they provided.“

“Fairland Animal Hospital has taken care of our three rescue adopted Miniature Pinschers since their first visit after adoption. Te staff and veterinarians care about four-legged family members and treat them with love and respect. The veterinarians are able to explain problems that surface and what treatment options are available. We highly recommend this practice.“

“The veterinarian was super nice and loved my ball pythons. The lobby is also really cool looking they have several fish tanks. They seem to really care a lot about the animals and live their work.<br><br>Edit: This is one of the closest places near Frederick that accepts treatment on snakes. Also this veterinary office tries to make sure your animal is living in the right environment and gets the correct and needed nutrients or equipment. I might switch all my animals here even though it’s a long drive.“

“My dog needed all of her vaccines updated and her annual check up, so I found this place online. We walked in on a Friday during lunch hour and were the only customers- we were in and out in 20 minutes. The assistants were very quick to check me in and recommended the perfect package for us to get all our vaccines. I was most impressed by the pricing- I have always had to pay twice as much as I did at PetWellClinic for the routine vaccines. The vet also took extra care with my dog who usually cries when getting these shots, and she did not let out one whimper. We will definitely be back!“

“I have been a client of Alpine for 35 years. The veterinarians are skilled, kind, and caring. The same goes for the techs. They are also consistently friendly and efficient. My dog can be a handful to treat, yet the staff seem quite fond of him.“

“We love Dr. Perl! Even my dogs, who know there’s a high probability he’s going to poke and prod them, but they cannot help but be happy to see him when he pulls up in front of our house! So much more comfortable for my pets, so then for me, too, and so convenient! Kiki I think every time I’ve called, Dr. Perl was able to get to us the next day or day after, and sometimes even the same day. The clincher was during the pandemic, he was still willing to come to our house, masked and meeting outside, and when we took up fostering dogs because we were home ALL. THE. TIME. and needed to bring more joy to our daily lives, one of the fosters was suffering from Kennel Cough, and Dr. Perl did not charge us to see and treat him so it wouldn’t spread to our dog, because he appreciated our dedication to fostering a sick pooch. Can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Perl and My Vet Calls.“

“Thank you so much for squeezing Captain Morgan in. Dr. Alcott was great, I really appreciate the time he took with us and explaining things. I will try to keep him from eating stuff from outside which is almost close to impossible. “To be honest, this was the best experience my family has had with a veterinarian practice. (Of course my pup had a great experience too which says a lot!). From the scheduling process, to the appointment itself and follow-up, everything has been great. We came from a different practice, Woodley Gardens made the transition so easy with obtaining all of my dogs prior records from multiple practices which made everything so much easier. My dog has inflammatory bowel disease and is under very specific care and a special diet because of this. Dr. Lowenthal has already been an amazing help with continuing care for my dog's disease and also helping us maintain communication with our dog's internist. I highly recommend this practice!“

“Big shout-out to the Highland Veterinary Hospital team. Today I had to put down my 16 year old dog, and Dr. Gary and his team came all the way out to my house so that he could pass comfortably in a familiar place. They were professional and compassionate throughout the entire process, asking me questions and explaining everything along the way. They handled all paperwork in advance so that I could just be in the moment to say goodbye to my dog. All of our clinic visits have been very pleasant as well, and I never feel like they were pushing unnecessary things on me. Highly recommend!“

“This is an excellent vet clinic! I can’t recommend them enough. They have taken good care of our puppy and the staff is all excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable and they always remember our pup and her quirks. They got her in same day when she had an ear infection. They were also super helpful when she was having some pain/discomfort after her spay and gave her a different medication which is working well for her. Overall, very responsive and helpful clinic. We look forward to continuing to take our pup here.“
