“5.31.24 My experience was a 5/5. I called several establishments a few weeks ago to schedule an appt for the Cezanne smoothing treatment, which is formaldehyde-free unlike the Brazilian treatment. The other establishments did not respond to online inquiries (a bad practice) while others had limited weekend booking availability. I was able to schedule an appointment here easily. I arrived to my scheduled appt a few minutes early and my stylist Sam was ready for me. She had Sandra wash my hair before cutting my hair then applying the treatment. The head massage while shampooing was very relaxing. Sandra was sweet and asked me several times while I was there if I wanted anything to drink. They offer complimentary coffee and snacks for patrons which is very unique and thoughtful. Sam was very personable and had a cheerful disposition. We chatted the whole time and she was delightful to talk to. We have a lot in common. That aside, she is skilled at what she does. My hair was sleek and smooth when she was done. They have regular size (not liter) hair care products available for purchase. Also, if you don't have cash to tip, they charge your desired tip amount to your receipt and give you cash in return to give to your stylist. They have thought of everything. Highly recommend Sam and this salon located in Ashton Village Center!!“

“Going in I was really excited!!! The lovely stylist who did my hair was Michella. I asked if she could do a braided bald head and she agreed. Just mentioned that it would be her first time. Once she started and I saw the S I was like shes about to eat down. And she did just that. All in all I'm very pleased and will be coming back!!“

“JSS has done it again everyone! It's been a year since my last review so I thought I'd share my new hair and experience. I was overdue for a hair trim so I reached out to Jessica and her availability. Booking was so fast and easy. In a matter of minutes I received my booking confirmation and any paperwork I needed to fill out. When I arrived, I'm greeted and assisted immediately. Their stations were slightly rearranged as there's some renovations occurring for the Japanese head massage they're trying to innovate. So, back to my hair! It was grown out, and it was long, black/blonde and needed some loving. I wanted to go dimensional with a lighter brunette. My hair is thick too so a trim was not out of the question. “I had highlights done at another studio and did root touchups on my own. My hair was feeling brassy so thought I would try Studio AM based on high reviews. Anum took the time before my appt to understand my goals for the appt and we set up an appointment for a toner. When I got there and she looked at my hair, she suggested that I instead do a root color as the color I had done on my own was making my whole head feel brassy and the color was too warm. She explained that my highlights were actually a nice ash color, but the brassy roots was throwing it off. She also suggested this as a toner would reduce the overall appearance of my highlights which I confirmed I didn't want. She took the time to explain color theory and what to look for if I end up doing a root touchup on my own again. She got the root color perfect (blends so nicely with the rest of my hair) and because she got the brassiness out of the roots, the rest of my hair looks perfect too! Really appreciated her taking the time to get to the "root" of my problem :). She was also so sweet and efficient. Will absolutely come back again!“
