“I had highlights done at another studio and did root touchups on my own. My hair was feeling brassy so thought I would try Studio AM based on high reviews. Anum took the time before my appt to understand my goals for the appt and we set up an appointment for a toner. When I got there and she looked at my hair, she suggested that I instead do a root color as the color I had done on my own was making my whole head feel brassy and the color was too warm. She explained that my highlights were actually a nice ash color, but the brassy roots was throwing it off. She also suggested this as a toner would reduce the overall appearance of my highlights which I confirmed I didn't want. She took the time to explain color theory and what to look for if I end up doing a root touchup on my own again. She got the root color perfect (blends so nicely with the rest of my hair) and because she got the brassiness out of the roots, the rest of my hair looks perfect too! Really appreciated her taking the time to get to the "root" of my problem :). She was also so sweet and efficient. Will absolutely come back again!“

“Thanks to Vivian, I'm very happy with the haircut she gave me. I went in to have a bad cut fixed...I was super stressed out about it and she patiently listened to me and guided me through options. We decided on a trim to correct the cut that was supposed to be an angled bob and ended up looking like a mushroom I love that she has her own cozy loft and she washed my hair, gave me a great head massage (she knew how stressed I was) and took her time to create a sassy short bob which looks great. Thanks, Vivian!!! I will be back.“

“Abby is INCREDIBLE!!!! I moved to MD almost 2 years ago and hadn't found a hair person I loved yet. I heard about Abby on a Facebook moms group where other women were raving about her. First I went to her for highlights and they were so beautiful. I was so excited to come back to get extensions, which I have always wanted. I have always had somewhat short, fine hair. Abby gave me the hair of my dreams with the extensions. She had them blend in perfectly with my highlights and my original hair. I am so in awe of her talent. On top of being a hair genius, she is also such a nice, genuine person. That's very important when you're spending hours with someone. She's someone where if you want to watch tv while you're getting your hair done, great! If you want to talk, great. She made me feel very comfortable right away and I can't recommend her enough!“

“My nephew was screaming and crying even before he walked in the door. She gave a great haircut, even despite his constant tantrum and movement. She had great patience and worked really, really fast. This was the 1st time a hair stylist was able to do layers and use scissors on him. Typically, they give up and just do a buzz cut with the same length all the way around. She understood the mission and accomplished it with relative ease. I'd give 10 stars if I could.“
