“Sue is excellent to work with, responds quickly, flexible scheduling and overall great experience with our pup Belle. A few times she brought her dog with her for playdates to socialize Belle to other dogs. Highly recommend individualize training sessions with Sue rather than group trainings elsewhere. She targets what you request for trainings, gives helpful suggestions and follows up with an email with educational videos and links..“

“I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. I have two pups (3yoM cattle dog mix, 3yoF cattle dog mix) who are nervous meeting new people and bark excessively. I've tried all different methods and haven't made much progress in easing my dogs' nerves. I called Maynard Training and got to chat with Chris before booking a session. He was amazing in explaining his approach and making me feel comfortable that we were a good fit before booking. Chris then came over and met my dogs. He was fantastic working with them and taught me so much about how to decrease their barking. I finally feel like I have an actual effective way to help my nervous dogs become less stressed in new situations.“

“We have an anxious dog that has historically required full sedation for vet exams and blood draws. When our vet recommended we reach out to Kristina to see if she could help, I was admittedly skeptical that there was anything that could be done. I felt like we had tried everything. I was wrong! Kristina has been patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. She advocated for the right pre-vet medications and worked with me on muzzle training and cues to keep our nervous pup’s attention. With her help, we recently had a hugely successful vet visit- blood draw and all!“

“It was such a relief to be able to go on vacation for a week and not have to worry about our pets. Marybeth took care of our fur babies like they were her own. She spent time with me before we left going over feeding routines and was very knowledgeable about giving my cat (who happens to have some drama queen/diva/b**ch moments) her glucosamine medicine. “We’ve been having our GSP Lily go to hilltop canine for a while now. She loves their daycare and we’ve always had an amazing experience with them. She comes home tired and is always excited to go there.<br><br>I’m writing a review because Paul and his team went above and beyond for us today. In the middle of the night, our dog had to go out to go the bathroom and got sprayed by a skunk. We did our best to get rid of the smell with no luck. I texted Paul and in the morning he had us drop her off while their groomer was there and they were able wash her with a mixture that gets the smell out. She smells so much better than she did earlier, and it was something that we wouldn’t have been able to get done. Paul even checked in with me in the evening to see how she was doing. Things like this show us how much Hilltop Canine cares about our dog and truly sets them apart from other day cares and grooming places.<br><br>Hilltop Canine took us last minute when we needed help. They’ve always been wonderful to us and our dog and we love and appreciate them so much!“

“We started with alpha dog when our German Shepherd was around 7 months old - what a difference already! My only regret is that we didn’t bring him there sooner. Christina is an amazing dog trainer! She really knows what she is doing and cares about the dogs she works with. She has helped us with specific issues we’ve had (getting him used to going to the groomer after a bad experience somewhere else) as well as household manners.
