You get what you pay for! Very good gym and for me, go to a gym where I can leave my kids playing while I’m working out it’s perfect!Kids Academy has the best managers ever. Ali and Francesca are always on top of everything to make sure our kids are safe and happy! I love them so much!!!
I started coming to this lifetime location this summer because of the pool since the one in chestnut hill does not have one. The pool is great- you can order food there including water melon, soft pretzels, flatbreads, slush, milk, etc. There is an indoor and outdoor pool option, and the outside one has a water slide that is pretty fun. The downside about the pool is that a child always seems to poop in the pool (like 80% of the times I have been) and the pool closes for an hour at least. Additionally, there is an adults only section but it is right next to the water slide where all of the kids are constantly walking through. The yoga classes are great, but there is only one studio so it allows for less yoga classes. In general, the stations and weights and other the space is much bigger than the chestnut hill lifetime. There are basketball courts, pickle ball courts, etc. as well as the spa and cafe. The parking lot is huge and it's easy to park! The locker room isn't as nice as the chestnut hill one, but it is ok overall. The smoothies are also a lot better at chestnut hill in my opinion, but the food at this location is better! I definitely recommend checking it out and having a pool day!
They keep raising their monthly dues, they keep removing gym equipment, and the arrangement of the equipment makes no sense. The gym itself lacks a lot of the basics, and they changed their kids academy hours during the day, 8-12 and 4-8 where they used to be all day, and they no longer open at 4am Friday - Sunday.This isn’t the original lifetime that opened where the members came first and foremost and what makes sense for bringing a “luxury” health club to the area.
