I've been using Historical Slate Roofing since ~2015, when the snowpocalypse was causing ice dams on multiple houses on our street. They went up to shovel excess snow off, and then we had them back to inspect the roof, install snow guards (to stop the snow from sliding off dangerously), ice/water shield, seal/repair the gutters, and install a new rubber roof for a flat area. We've since had them out to replace the deteriorated ridge cap, and every 2-3 years when high winds knock the odd slate off. The owner, Kevin, is a nice guy, and knows what he is talking about. I had a very good experience with Historical Slate as a first time client. They made some repairs to our roof and also installed a chimney cap. A ceiling leak that had been an issue for a long time has resolved since they did the work. I would definitely use them again for future maintenance of our roof and would recommend to others.Services: Roof inspection

We have owned our house for 50 years. During that time we had a recurring roof leak over many years. We tried many slate roofers, none of whom were able to fix the leak. We finally used Kevin Williams Jr, who diagnosed the leak accurately and fixed it so that the problem has disappeared.
