Her work is meticulous and instead of removing my old lashes and starting from scratch (which would have cost more), she was able to work with what I had and I left her studio with the most gorgeous and fresh lashes ever! Her studio is bright and clean and her work is the best I have seen in 10 years of getting lash extensions. I wish she lived in California. Mahalo nui loa Lucia!“

“This review is a long time coming. I came here during the summer for microblading with Kym. I had over tweezed my brows over the years and they looked too sparse and uneven for my liking. Kym took her time mapping out the shape and picked out the perfect color that matched my natural brows exactly. I was going for a natural look and Kym delivered. I really love the shape she gave me. The place is super cute and I feel pretty just going there because of how nice it is inside. I would highly recommend Kym and Dollface if you're looking to get your brows micro bladed!“

“I found Axle salon after doing a lot of research on top salons in the area. After a terrible experience at different salon I was extremely nervous and cautious to let someone new style my hair but after reading reviews/checking Instagram's I was confident in my selection to try Axle. I have never looked back on my decision. Ashton is a magician! She listened to my experiences/concerns and understands what I want even if I am not articulating it correctly. Every time I leave her chair I leave feeling prettier and more confident. After so many positive visits with Ashton I decided to switch to Axle for my Botox. Liz is amazing! She is intentional with placement and honest about your needs. She has a natural look approach that I love. She is attentive before, during, an even after your appointment to make sure you are left feeling happy and confident! Axle cares about their clients and listens and that is why I will always come back.“

“I’ve been a client of Stilisti for eight years now. My cuts and color are *consistently* gorgeous. Marisa (the owner) is my primary hairdresser, but I don’t hesitate for a moment to see another stylist (Ana) if the scheduling works out better. Marisa emphasizes training of everyone in the salon and her standards are high! Even the hair washes feel special; Darlyne, in particular, gives an awesome scalp massage. The salon uses Goldwell color, which is my favorite for my blonde hair and they do a beautiful job with dimension (base color with tons of high/low lights and also a really pretty Scandinavian blonde treatment around my hairline). Maybe best of all is that there is zero attitude at this salon, which is so refreshing (especially for Newbury Street). The prices are consistent with other downtown Boston/Back Bay salons (read “not cheap” :)) but 100% worth it, especially when I factor in how well my cuts grow out. If it weren’t for my fast-growing roots at age 48, I could definitively stretch the time between appointments; but - alas - I love how great I feel with consistently great hair, so I am on about an every 8 week schedule. Bottom line: highest marks for Stilisti ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I hired Jeremy to do hair, makeup and photography for a shoot to celebrate my recent 40 lb weight loss. I am a former professional makeup artist of over 11 years and have only ever had 2 other people do my makeup, Jeremy being the third. The makeup was perfect and fit my personal esthetic perfectly. The hair - AMAZING. And the photos… I cannot even describe how much I love them. His lighting was superb and he didn’t overly edit them either, which I loved. “My Eyebrows were left amazing! Coming from someone with literally no eyebrows, Estephany seriously changed my confidence and also saved me a LOT of time every morning! No more spending 30 minutes doing my eyebrows! I cannot recommend her enough, she is so professional, outgoing and the space is so comforting and extremely clean. The atmosphere is calming with nice slow nature sounds making your experience comfortable enough where i took a nice nap as she worked on my brows. She makes sure you’re comfortable with numbing and that you like the shape of your brows before she starts, i will be coming here for my next touch up when needed!

Both through a combination incredible facials that she customized specifically to my needs, but also for her recommendations on skin care products.I was already spending a small fortune on products, but the products Jennifer recommended for me (all carried by Joy Skin Atelier) have had more dramatic results then anything I've bought myself after hours of research.The only reason I don't want to write this review is I'm afraid it will make getting an appointment harder as more people find out how fantastic Joy Atelier is. “I've been seeing Kelly for over five years now. She originally brought me from box black to blonde healthily and slowly when I first started coming. We've been dying my hair a fun and vibrant orange dye that's healthy for several years now. Time and time again she's done a great job, taken inspo pics seriously and has never left me disappointed. If you're looking for a color specialist who also works well with various styles of cutting be it more choppy razor cuts or good layering she's a fantastic pick.
