“I came here on a whim when I decided, basically overnight, that I needed a big chop and wanted to find somewhere close by. I was nervous, since I was getting 5+ inches off, but I was pleasantly surprised by Mechi Beauty. Michelle was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Most importantly, she gave me a great haircut! I'm thrilled with my new bob and will be going back to her for trims and future chops.Side note: I chose not to pay for a blow dry since I was just going home and didn't mind having wet hair, but I regret that since I couldn't really appreciate the haircut until my hair fully dried. I recommend getting it dried with Michelle so you can see what it will look like and if it needs adjusting.“
“Melanie has been cutting my wife's hair for about 7 years and mine for about 4- we love her! Both through a combination incredible facials that she customized specifically to my needs, but also for her recommendations on skin care products.I was already spending a small fortune on products, but the products Jennifer recommended for me (all carried by Joy Skin Atelier) have had more dramatic results then anything I've bought myself after hours of research.The only reason I don't want to write this review is I'm afraid it will make getting an appointment harder as more people find out how fantastic Joy Atelier is. The first call I had with Lynsday cemented my desire to work with LSB - she was so warm, knowledgeable, and friendly. The two women who worked with me for my wedding are two of the kindest, most talented, down to earth, fabulous women to work with in the business.Amy did my hair, and she was just point blank phenomenal. I live in NYC, and if I could reasonably commute or plan hair trips to Cape Cod, I literally would in a heartbeat. She truly listened to what my vision was for the day, went out of her way to make me feel comfortable, calm, and relaxed whenever she could, gave advice without making me feel obligated to go any particular way, and was just an all around fun and joyful presence on the day of my wedding. Not to mention, of course, her exceptional hair styling prowess is the stuff of legends.Eliza did my makeup, and this woman is a PURE ray of sunshine!! Knowing I felt like a fish out of water when it came to makeup, Eliza listened to what I wanted, executed effortlessly, and made me feel like a princess in the process. I felt so insanely beautiful. Her talent is out of this world, and I cannot recommend her enough. And again. Who wouldn’t want a LITERAL ray of sunshine with them the morning of their wedding??? If I could give Amy and Eliza both 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat.“
